A very nice car park with picnic tables and bins. Directly by the reservoir, with a small stream, surrounded by cherry and conifer trees. I am giving it one star because the site is not at the stated coordinates and overnight parking is not permitted there. It is certainly worth visiting for a break. The correct coordinates are: 53.5470479, -1.8276472!
The place shown on the map is in a driving restricted area/off road. The car park shown in the photos is lower down on Brownhill Lane. Access is only from Holmbridge up Brownhill Lane. It's a small car park but room for several vehicles. Great cycling and walking in the area. Many more walks are on Yorkshire Water land some of which is closed off.
Be aware when using postcode this takes you down an off-road lane . We tried but had to head back as road closed further down . An adventure none the less . Beautiful woodland , pheasants everywhere
Yorkshire Water land. Not sure overnight is permitted. Off road tyres needed to access.
Really only suitable for off road vehicles. Yorkshire water land. No signal at all.
