This is a peaceful riverside picnic area with a great view, suitable for a quiet overnight stop or break. It is relatively close to the road, but becomes quiet at night; fishermen and walkers may arrive early. A large sand pile currently blocks part of the area, limiting use. The ground can become muddy in rain.

Quiet, peaceful place with a great view.
Currently only usable to a limited extent. We were here once before in October 2025 and it was wonderful. Now it is partially blocked by a large pile of sand.
We spent one night here. Arriving late in the evening, we found only one camper; sorry if we frightened you. Apart from barking foxes and the sound of the river, it was absolutely peaceful. Early in the morning, locals began arriving—fishermen and walkers—but nobody bothered us. We highly recommend it.
