Riverside woodland, steep access

For nature lovers, it is paradise. There are buffalo. The only drawback is the descent and the side road needed to get there or leave.

Fine for a car or a small campervan for one night, but not for a real motorhome. Steep road downhill alongside a major road. You hear less traffic near the bridge; on the sand it is difficult because it is very uneven, but on the bridge it is fine. See the photos. The water is wonderfully refreshing :) A few mountain bikers and walkers passed by in the morning.

We stayed here for one night, a fine place to spend the night while passing through. Space for about two campers. Nothing particularly special, but there are beautiful walking routes around it.

Lovely quiet night, we went for a short walk in the evening and saw birds including dipper, grey wagtail, kingfisher and crested tit, and some roe deer. The track down to the spot is very steep. If it has rained a lot, or is due to, it is probably best to avoid unless you are in a 4x4. Possibly space for two small campervans.

It did not really seem appropriate to stay here with our 7-metre motorhome—or with a motorhome at all—so we drove to another spot farther on. Maybe suitable for a small, narrow campervan that will not get in the way.

No services but we had a very quiet and good night here. Close to nature trails and on thr evening we saw some fireflies. Hard to find an even ground with out any ramps, poor cell reception.

Very quiet little place at the start of a hiking trail! Very green and cool, with fireflies at night! Space for one or two vans ideally. Next to a river and a bull pasture. We had a very pleasant night!

Very quiet place in the middle of the forest. The ground is a little sloping but perfectly suitable for a converted van. Walking trails make it ideal if you have a dog. Thanks for this place, as parking in the town centre is not easy.
