This roadside shoulder offers an exceptional mountain view and is close to the trail for the ridge hike. Leveling the vehicle is difficult, and the wind can blow very strongly at night. The road is fairly busy and the area can attract many people, although nighttime traffic is usually light. Snow was not cleared during a winter visit.

Exceptional view! Magnificent in late July. However, leveling is difficult and the wind blows very strongly at night. Otherwise, nothing to complain about—so beautiful!
The snow had not been cleared.
The view is magnificent, and the proximity to the ridge hike is excellent. Quite busy and close to a fairly busy road, but the worst part is people parking by the toilets and making life difficult, including many motorhomes. It is a shame!
A spot for one vehicle, as it is difficult to level without chocks. The view is incredible, the cows came to say hello when we woke up, and there was very little traffic at night.
