Bergsjovagen, 829 53, Älgered
Been here?
A slightly sloped parking area beside a swimming lake, suitable for 2-3 campers. Campers may stay on the parking lot, but camping on the grass is not allowed. A dry toilet, swimming jetty, playground and walking opportunities are available, while the nearby road causes little disturbance. Between 15 May and 15 September, dogs are not allowed.

Very nicely located site by the lake with a pit toilet. A little uneven but okay. Swimming and hiking opportunities. Unfortunately, selfish Swedish motorhome campers block a pitch with a wooden pallet so they can keep the lake view that they are currently blocking for other campers—really embarrassing.
We liked the site very much; the road did not bother us. We were there alone for one night in May, and during the day a woman with a child came to play; otherwise we saw nobody. The only downside for us was that the internet via Starlink worked very poorly. Great free facility!
The road really hardly causes any disturbance. A sign explicitly invites camping, with a request for a donation to the local association that maintains the site. Unfortunately, donations are only possible via Swish—it would surely help the association to offer a cash payment option.
Very nice site with a children's playground and a bathing jetty. You should not park directly by the lake, as the Swedes park there with cars and trailers to load their boats. You can hear the road slightly, but it is not disturbing. Great view of the lake. There is a dry toilet in the forest. Tables and benches and a barbecue area are available.
