Contrada Baracchino, 96017, Fondo Morte
Been here?
Well-kept, shaded campsite with pool, bar and restaurant, although pitches can be close together and some facilities are dated. Electricity and water are included, while hot showers cost 1€/5 min. A washing machine costs 4€ per wash, and late-August prices were 35 euro for two people and a van. The beach is 700m away by bicycle, and Marzamemi is about 3 km away.

Equipped campsite, camper and tent pitches very close together in the shade of the trees, with electricity and water included. Hot showers €1/5 minutes; sinks, toilets, and showers could use some modernization, dating from the 1990s, but acceptable. One washing machine (€4 per wash). Pool, bar, and pizzeria (very good); friendly staff, peaceful place—depending, of course, on the guests. Five minutes by car from Lido S. Lorenzo.
Very pleasant, well-vegetated campsite with plenty of shade. Quiet, spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities, and a lovely pool. We tried the pizzas served at the bar in the evening; they were excellent. We easily reached the beach, which is very beautiful and 700 metres away by bicycle (5 minutes), and Marzamemi, a superb and charming village for an evening out, in just over 10 minutes. These are small roads with moderate traffic, but you should still have lights on your bicycle at night.
Good and clean site. The sanitary facilities are older but okay, with coins required for hot water. Somewhat remote, but therefore very quiet. In October the bar is closed, but the pool is still full. By bicycle, you can easily reach the trendy town of Marzamemi with its many restaurants in 10 minutes, just under 3 kilometres away. We recommend this place.
Very clean and well-equipped campsite, quiet and shaded, with friendly and competent staff, convenient for the beaches and visiting Marzamemi. We are not giving 5 stars because they make you wear a hospital-style wristband, the only very small drawback. Highly recommended! Keep it up!
Quiet campsite equipped with every comfort, including an on-site pizzeria with fair prices (€6–8) and sandwiches (€3–5). The bathrooms/showers are slightly dated, but perfect for one night. Facilities are available for filling jerry cans and tanks. The price at the end of August was €35 for 2 people and a van.
We were there in June. Such friendly staff. They helped us after our young daughter had an accident and immediately lent us their car. There were also great shaded pitches, quiet as long as you are not right next to the pool. We felt very comfortable. With ACSI it was about €23 per night. Very clean pool. Full of Italians at weekends, rather empty during the week.
Friendly welcome at reception, very helpful, delicious restaurant, nice pool. Fine pitches with electricity and water nearby. You can cycle to the lively coastal town of Marzamemi, and the beach is close.
The description needs to be changed regarding the pitch fee. It is not €80 for 2 people and a van. We paid €22 for two people and a 7-metre-long motorhome, plus tax.
Don't understand the 5 star reviews. Toilet area was basic and not particularly clean, neither was the sink areas. Cold water. Lots of weeds and small cramped pitches. Only stayed one night. Stayed in much nicer for better price point.
By far the best campsite in Sicily, clean, clean and working bathrooms, nice pool, excellent table tennis table, 5 minutes' walk from the sea and the beach is not bad at all, large pitches with beautiful willows. We spent €40 for 2 nights, 2 adults and 1 van in mid-September. Friendly and always-present staff (also with beautiful eyes), highly recommended! Keep it up!
They charged us €15 just for filling and emptying! Do I need to say more?
We inaugurated our camper at this peaceful and welcoming campsite and returned again afterwards. Francesco, the owner, is extremely attentive and offers professionalism and efficiency. All the staff are friendly and extremely kind. Shortly before departure we had a major problem with the Fiamma awning. Infinite thanks to Salvo, who worked beyond his hours to fix it. See you soon!
A special rest area beneath the shade of the willows, with very friendly and helpful operators. Use of the pool and an acceptable bathroom/shower area is possible. Electric bikes can be rented. Everything is very close to Marzamemi and the nearby beaches. We had a wonderful time, thank you.
A lovely campsite, especially for families with children; everything is well maintained and clean, with an excellent pizzeria and a pool ideal for children. We had a really good stay. The only drawback is that it is a little far from the sea, but the campsite staff are very accommodating and can provide several solutions.
Excellent campsite, with working and fresh-smelling facilities, delicious restaurant, pool, and barbecue area. The only drawback is breakfast: a cappuccino made with UHT milk is really too expensive! I recommend the pitches at the back under the trees.
We stayed for one night in mid-August 2023. We paid €80 for 2 adults and 2 children with a motorhome, more expensive than the others. We left the following night because the beaches are not very beautiful. The only attraction is visiting the nearby town. Good atmosphere and nice pool. Friendly welcome. The pitches on the side of the campsite are narrow and look more like a parking lot.
everything great. even has area for dogs to play. pool top, shadows great.
Well-maintained campsite, hot showers for €1, too many rules and schedules, shuttle service for getting around is uncertain.
