This large gym parking area is beside a heavily used railway line and is reportedly open at night. Trains make the site noisy, so earplugs are advisable for sleeping. Vehicles up to 3m30 have previously had no height problem, and there is plenty of space. Earlier reports described a welcoming caretaker, but the former caretaker has retired.

Contrary to what is stated, the parking lot is not closed at night. I wanted to spend the night there, but the parking lot is right next to a very busy railway line. I continued on my way. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep there. MB31

The former gym caretaker has retired. Since the new one arrived, it seems that the parking lot is closed at night.
A chain closes the entrance to the parking lot on May 21, 2022, at 11 p.m.
I spent two quiet nights there and was warmly welcomed by Néné (the caretaker) who offered to help with anything I needed. Ended up having a nice warm shower in the sport center and a place to work on my van. Parking and building are clean, some visitors came by during the day but everyone friendly and respectful. Could barely notice the trains after some time - they are quite infrequent too.
