The river can be loud, while the nearby national road and railway also create some noise; the last train was around 22/23h. The surface is dusty, with a grassy riverbank, and trees can reduce road noise. Toilets and a water point are across the road near the boat-rental businesses.

Pleasant place near the Durance. We spent the night there.
A little noisy, with the national road on one side and the railway on the other side of the Durance; the last train is at 10 or 11 p.m. Everything is drowned out by the roar of the river. Dusty parking area but grassy riverbank. Toilets and water point across the road near the boat-rental companies. Great kayaking and whitewater spot during the day. Sleeping in is difficult because the first groups of athletes arrive early.
Very quiet place to sleep if you do not mind the sound of the fast-flowing water running parallel to the area. The road is next to it, but if you position yourself well, the trees block the noise. Kayak training area.
