Been here?
Paid motorhome area directly facing the port with shaded spots and picnic tables. Electricity included at €12, but installations are deteriorating with power failures reported. Water and emptying are located far away on the opposite side of the port, with no hose fitting for tank rinsing. Quiet at night with shops and restaurants nearby.

Every year we pass by and I see the electrical installations deteriorating further. In another two years there may be no electricity. What a shame that there is no maintenance follow-up. Otherwise, beautiful view and shops nearby.Translating
Paid parking along the harbour, pleasant view of the boats, rubbish bins at the far end of the site. The service point is poorly indicated on the other side of the harbour at the end of a small street, with no water for rinsing cassettes. Shaded, with a grocery shop and restaurants.Translating
Lovely spot overlooking the small marina. Quiet at night. The emptying and water are on the opposite side at the very far end beside the dry docks.
Many thanks to the municipality for this motorhome area. Great place for visiting the town, with lovely walks nearby. Highly recommended; we will surely return.Translating
Very good area. We stayed for two days, with lovely little shops right next door. Thank you to the municipality for these beautiful pitches with electricity (we did not use it).Translating
a very pretty place next to the boat's all you need to relax, had a good night sleep thank you for this lovely park up.
Thank you to the municipality for making this area available. The view of the harbour is very pleasant and there are lovely walks nearby. Bread is available at La Cabane du Poulet, where you can also eat. We always return here with pleasure.Translating
Super nice place, magnificent view even in the rain. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
Very pleasant area, very quiet night, water nearby. The only downside is that the grey-water and cassette emptying point is too far away, so you have to move the motorhome.Translating
Very good pitch with a superb view. Very good value for money, unlike some previous comments. Quiet night despite the crowds. Level ground. Good mobile signal. Electricity included for €12. Nothing to complain about. The emptying point is on the opposite bank, with fresh water for €1. Thank you to the municipality despite this very touristy area!Translating
Our first time here on only our second outing. it appears the the electric hookup posts have been repaired. only downside is the water. No fitting for a hose. Local facilities still open. Calm but popular. Great outlook. Thanks to the commune for the site. We will be back.
The place is still just as magical! The harbour, limestone cliffs, tranquillity and so on. What is shameful is the condition of the electrical installations, and that the water is turned off at the service point on 30 October in a place where it freezes only two or three days a year. Let us commend the town hall for welcoming motorhomes, but look at the state of the facilities! The service point is on the opposite side of the harbour, so you need to empty the cassette before settling in.Translating
Beautiful parking area opposite the harbour, level pitches, lovely walks on foot or by bicycle, quiet night, electricity and water. Services are on the other side of the harbour. Parking costs €12 per 24 hours.Translating
Still just as pleasant! Quiet and relaxing. The price rises quickly! The pitches could do with being upgraded, including the gravel and service point. Some motorhome users behave inconsiderately by cleaning their cassettes at the boaters' tap! (Where did they empty them?) Thank you to the municipality for the welcome. See you next time!Translating
Decent pitch, electrical hookup (some posts need maintenance), quiet night. Terra Aventura and walking trails. Services work for €1.00. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Excellent site, in a wonderful location. There are advantages of being around the port, rather than up in the town, with great views, good cafe options, and an amazing bricante. The facilities are somewhat bizarrely located, but that's a small inconvenience.
Great place, thank you to the municipality.Translating
A little piece of paradise beside the harbour, with a small snack bar and restaurant selling bread. You can take a full-day sailing trip with a captain for €80 per person; bring a packed lunch. In season, a baker comes by around 9:15 a.m. Price: €12 per night. Service area on the other side of the harbour.Translating
Nice spot but a little expensive. In August 2024 we paid €9. Everything is increasing, but still.Translating
Parking for 42 vehicles, damaged electrical hookups, frequented by a few squatters who are not always very respectable. The small bars at the entrance are nice, with a beautiful view of the harbour. €13 per 24 hours is too expensive for the services, although the view is excellent.Translating
Very beautiful view of the marina, quiet night. However, €12 when you have to empty on the other side is outrageous. The electrical posts are in a terrible state; I did not dare connect. The price paid should be used to repair them.Translating
Nice place, well located, but there is a flat rate of €12 for 24 hours. If you are just passing through during the day, you cannot park during the day in the town's other car parks, which is completely illegal.Translating
PURE BLISS even in the rain, lol Lovely view of the harbour Electricity Thank you for this little peaceful spot.Translating
Very nice pitch located in the harbour of Mortagne. Picturesque setting. Access to electricity. Food available nearby. We will gladly return.Translating
Very disappointed, nothing available and a big price increase (€12 for 24 hours).
THE PRICE IS €12 I AM IN MORTAGNE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT EXCEPT THAT IT IS RAINING AND A LITTLE COLD.
Beautiful, quiet place. View of the harbour and estuary. Nice walks along the estuary. Electricity is available at every pitch. For black- and grey-water emptying, you have to go to the other side of the harbour, at the back, near the boatyard and winter storage area.
Superb place, quiet, with lovely walks nearby. Everything is closed at this time of year, which is normal. €9.90 including electricity.
Great park up … good price, EHU, water on pitch with grey and black water on the other side of the marina, top end near the estuary … and only 1€ … kingfishers, cormorants, grey heron and little egrets … so plenty to see and the walk up into the town is refreshing … in December nothing really open but we’ll come back when it’s warmer
Well-located area with a beautiful view of the harbour. Very quiet at this time of year. The €9.90 rate is very affordable. There is also an emptying point at the end of the street opposite the harbour, as well as a self-service laundrette. Lovely walks along the estuary. Many thanks to the municipality. I will return in fine weather.
This parking area has the advantage of existing and being close to the harbour and village. Otherwise, you pay €9.90 to sleep one night, with electricity as the only service—and beware, the hookups are held together with tape. As for water, if you want to fill up, patience is essential. For emptying, go to the other side of the harbour and pay €1 to rinse your cassette. See the photo.
Perfect and inexpensive for spending the night in a lovely setting.
Pitches close to the centre and amenities, on the harbourfront. A small shop right next door where you can have something to eat and buy bread and croissants in the morning.
Superb area located along the harbour of Mortagne-sur-Gironde. The pitches have electricity. The setting is magnificent, with boats moored directly opposite the access road. Thank you to the municipality for providing this at a modest price considering the services.
Beautiful area in Mortagne's marina with electricity. Very quiet, with a small grocery shop nearby for bread and essential food. We will return.
Very nice area; the only downside is that the cassette and grey-water emptying point is a little far from the parking. Apart from that, a beautiful view from the lookout and a superb butcher. Highly recommended; we will definitely return. Thank you to the municipality.
