This high location on the Sierra de Altamira offers a spectacular setting, but the approach is very steep and stony. It is not recommended for large vehicles, and turning around is very complicated. A car or possibly a van can manage with great care; Casar de Palomero has shops, bars, banks and ATMs.

Very steep road with lots of stones. Not recommended at all for large vehicles. With a car and perhaps a van, it is possible with great care. Turning around is very difficult. BEWARE…!!!!
