Very idyllic campsite. Bread only by pre-order. The nearest bakery is 6 km downhill, no problem by e-bike. Sanitary facilities are showing their age and have somewhat unpleasant smells, but the showers are okay. Reception is currently staffed only in the morning; bread orders are no longer possible after 11 a.m. So you may need to provide breakfast for the first morning.
Very beautiful, quiet campsite. Very, very clean sanitary facilities. Everything needed for washing dishes and laundry is available. The reception staff member is very friendly and cheerful.
Old but clean, simple campsite. During peak season, reservations are recommended if you need electricity. In addition to a small stand selling essentials and bread, there is a food truck in the evening with delicious pizza. No grey-water disposal available.
Warm welcome, spacious pitch in nature beside a river, very clean sanitary facilities. We recommend it.
Quiet campsite in nature, with respectful campers, flat and shaded pitches, and a small river. Clean sanitary facilities and very helpful reception. We would come back for a week of rest; a true haven of peace. Thank you, municipality.
Beautiful pitches, peaceful location, €12.60 for a campervan with two adults. Great for taking a proper shower and getting everything back in order; sometimes that is the price of a camper pitch without facilities.
Campsite listed as only one star: but seriously? Idyllic setting, large and level pitches, clean sanitary facilities, and so on. Of course, no pool or noisy entertainers, but cool campers ready to chat. Oh, I almost forgot: friendly and helpful reception. No shops nearby, but there is a food truck, bread in the morning, croissants, and so on. I'll stop now—the campsite is going to be overrun!
Nature-oriented campsite with somewhat dated but clean sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome with limited service hours. We spent two wonderful days there and left well rested.
Pleasant campsite, very clean sanitary facilities, small refreshment bar, and super-friendly welcome.
The pitches are somewhat narrow, but it worked with 7.5 m by 2.4 m. Dispose of grey water before arrival or after departure, for example in Munster. According to the very nice lady at reception, this was previously listed incorrectly here—it has been corrected. Otherwise, everything is as described.
Here for the second time: simple, green, friendly, very quiet, and welcoming. At 630 m at the end of the valley, not for 17-star campers. Baguettes and currently a pizza van in the evening. Wonderful hiking from farm to farm. 3 km and 120 m elevation gain from the village; there is a well-stocked Proxy supermarket in Metzeral.
This is what camping should be! Affordable, super friendly, bread-roll service, showers, waste and water facilities, and wonderful, extremely friendly staff. The pitches are beautiful and well maintained! Thank you!
Excellent campsite, superb welcome, ideal for hiking.
Always lovely, simple, and uncomplicated. Thank you.
Wonderful place in the countryside, secluded and simple. Average sanitary facilities. Perfect for demanding hiking, mountain-biking, and road-cycling tours.
Campsite in nature, quiet but also very basic. The sanitary facilities urgently need a complete renovation: mold on the ceiling and pipes, tiles falling off. However, everything works and is cleaned. Friendly staff. The grass on the pitches has been badly damaged by tent campers, with large bare patches. Little sunlight due to tall trees and mountains. Long approach.
Great, simply beautiful. It needs toilet paper, but otherwise it is cozy.
We loved our 5 nights at this campsite! €104 for two adults, two dogs, 10 amps, and a caravan. The place is a nature paradise! Perfect for dogs and hiking. Note that the sanitary facilities offer only basic comfort. We asked for a shaded spot and got one! Great.
Peace and quiet ! A nature paradise . We camped on the meadow (we didnt need electricity). Small river running by . Great walks in the forest . Super for the dog ! We loved it .
Quiet and inexpensive. Starting point for cycling trips. The pitches opposite the entrance are freely accessible, paid, but cannot be reserved.
