Been here?
A flat, spacious and very quiet wild spot beside the remains of the ancient Messene wall, with views and sunset over the city. It is easy to access, has no services and little 4G/5G coverage, while jackals may howl in the distance. Vehicles have been broken into when left unattended, so the spot is unsuitable for leaving a camper alone.

Don't leave your car alone here. I walked the dog for 1,5 hour and came back to a broken window and having been robbed. tock my computer, money, wallet. just go to the archeological site instead I heard others stayed there safely in campers and it's three minutes away.
Had a very peaceful night, some jackals howling in the distance, but it didn't keep me awake. Considering previous reviews, I wouldn't leave my camper here by itself to prevent theft.
Excellent place to sleep. Easy to access and very quiet. No traffic at night. Ideal for visiting the archaeological site.
Very quiet night, flat and spacious spot, very close to the wall. A good place to visit the archaeological site the next day.
We spent two very quiet nights here. Beautiful view and sunset over the city wall. For hikes, I would recommend parking the camper in the village center, as it is safer.
Actually a beautiful place. Unfortunately, my vehicle was broken into and searched while I was hiking in the afternoon, and several things were stolen. So be careful!!
Beautiful, isolated and very quiet place. You park about 50 meters from the barely used road and only a few meters from the remains of the ancient city wall of Messene. The rear area cannot be seen from the road. I spent a very quiet night here.
