Dreenkrögener See, Dreenkrögen, 19288, Wöbbelin
Been here?
A small campsite beside a 1.6 km² gravel-pit lake surrounded by forest, close to the A24 and A14 junctions. The lake has a 70 m jetty, diving and slide tower, swimming, beach volleyball and other recreation, while the motorway can be noisy. Camping currently costs €35 plus €5 for a shower, and swimming is included. Sanitary facilities are outdated, WC disposal is unavailable, and dogs are not allowed.

Nice small camp by a lake.
Conveniently located for transport, and that is about all. Sanitary facilities outdated, noise from the motorway. The price of €35 plus €5 is far too high; we will not come back.
Super nice, small site. The owners make a great effort and maintain the site and sanitary facilities. You can barely hear the roads either. The lake, with its jetties and slide-and-jump tower, is very beautiful.
Conveniently located for transport. Fine for passing through. You have to live with the motorway noise. Sanitary facilities are outdated, and despite swimming activity they were not cleaned until the next day. Toilet disposal was not possible. The flat rate of €35 plus shower is excessive. No way to buy or order bread rolls. Plus point: the lake where the site is located is very clean and provides good cooling at 32°C.
Beautiful lake. Electricity and toilets available.
Good view over the lake. Some noise from music, but it stopped early in the evening. The toilets had a lot of sand on the floor because they are also used by beachgoers. Generally very loose sand.
We were just here and wanted a pitch in front of the campsite. But the operator told us that these unfortunately no longer exist. Overnight at the campsite costs €30. Beautiful lake, nice site, but it was too expensive for one night while passing through. What a shame.
Very beautiful, quiet place, very friendly operator, wonderful lake, toilets/showers available and clean. One small flaw: unfortunately the grass had not been mowed and was very high on the pitches.
Good location, but unlike what is stated here, dogs are generally not allowed! This should be changed in the selection criteria!
While passing through, we stopped at Lake Dreenkrögen campsite to fill our water tanks. The owner kindly helped us, and even did so free of charge. Wow! The pitch is fantastic, with a view of the lake, and the friendliness is top-notch. Next time we will stay for a few days. Many thanks!
The people here are super nice. Plenty of electricity, as my Truma is faulty. I only stood in the car park; it is too cold for swimming anyway.
A very nice place for one night. We had the whole site to ourselves. However, we were not directly on the campsite but in the parking area in front of it. It costs €10 with water but without electricity; electricity can be added. Nice operator. The motorway noise did not bother us, as we explored Ludwigslust by bike and consequently slept well.
