Camp glamping Velčvrt

It is true that the area is charming. And it has the merit of existing, because we drove around a lot looking for a place for the night, and the owner agreed to take us in. We didn't say no. Admittedly, we were next to the chicken coop without electricity, yet it cost €40. It is not possible to empty the toilet. The owners patrol by quad bike; don't worry about paying in cash.

What a beautiful place. We were lucky and were still able to park our motorhome (7.5 meters long) close to the river. Wonderful spacious area, beautiful view and pleasant atmosphere. The campsite owners are very friendly and helpful. For example, you can borrow a gas bottle for cooking. The field designated for motorhomes seems (!) not to have electricity everywhere, which is a disadvantage. Hence 4 stars.

We stayed here for 5 nights with our motorhome. Very good and quiet place close to the river. Beautiful town. We took the train to visit Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bled, and also took the train to visit beautiful Ljubljana. The sanitary facilities are okay, with very good showers.

Very nice place, easy access, friendly atmosphere as we like it. A drawback is the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and washing-up area due to other users not cleaning up after themselves (freezing shower because there was no hot water; the boiler could not supply enough). It's a shame that everyone only thinks of themselves!

Great place and great people! Friendly and easy going. With a central location it is a great place to stay. Definitely go back!

The setting is pleasant and the facilities are recent. MAJOR DRAWBACK: “the cleanliness of the premises leaves a lot to be desired; dirty cups and glasses, products and the 14 sponges left on the edge of the sink; the condition of the toilets shows that they are not cleaned. We paid 40 euros for 2 people for 1 day for a van with electricity (not up to the standard of the facilities because there is nothing).

Nice place right by the river! A small town is about 20 minutes away (stairs/hill uphill). The facilities were not super clean, but sufficient for us. The owner said that he often allows more people than he can handle with the cleaning. These families then have nowhere else to go nearby. The owner does like a joke. He has an extra field where these people stay.

Upon arrival I saw no one. No electricity, no toilet emptying. The shower was good. You can fill with water, but my camper (7.5 m) was too large to get there. It is run by father and son. The son speaks very good English. I stayed off-grid in the field where people can play (volleyball/football). €20 per night. There were also 3 dogs, which was no problem. ❤️

A nice, small, quiet campsite directly on the river. At night you can hear the water rushing, wonderful! However, I am deducting two stars because the sanitary facilities were quite dirty and were not cleaned during our stay. We did not feel comfortable there. I also think €40 for 2 people (without electricity or frills) is rather too expensive.

Beautiful location on the Sava River, a stone's throw from Bled. Very peaceful place that feels more like a farm. Small, basic facilities and tidy. The welcome was not particularly warm; the price seems to have been pulled out of thin air in the low season.

We would have rated it higher for the location. Showers and washing-up facilities were dirty. In the morning, a Dutch couple had paid €15 per person per night. Reasonable, and then you are willing to overlook some things. That day the price went up to €20 per person per night and €10 for the dog! We paid €50 for one night, which we think is far too much for this campsite, without electricity and with no possibility of emptying the toilet cassette.

We were there with a self-sufficient motorhome, but still used the toilets. A beautiful place in nature by the river; 2 people and one motorhome, €30.

Wonderful place, with a totally relaxed owner named Thomas. Good starting point for cycling or walking to Bled. The village is also not far, although it is steep. I would gladly come again.

A good camping! really liked the chill and relaxed atmosphere over this place. So nice with the animals on the little farm. The sanitary area is new and kind of clean. Good pressure on the showers!

Quiet little campsite directly by the river. A train can be heard occasionally. The sanitary facilities are new but absolutely filthy. They have not been cleaned for some time. The kitchen was dirty too.

An absolute insider tip. Between meadows and pastures, directly on the river, there is a cute camp with a few wooden cabins and a large meadow; motorhomes can be parked on both areas. Showers, toilets and an outdoor kitchen are available, but the owner could not be found. We met his son the next day; he only wanted €20 for the night. Great price, would return anytime!

The area is very quiet. Easy arrival. Lots of hustle and bustle on the main site, where the pitches are rather cramped. We stayed on the meadow opposite, which was much more pleasant! There is no electricity there, though. The sanitary facilities are not separated and are absolutely unacceptable! They are clearly not cleaned. Easily manageable for self-sufficient campers, and you can still find a spot without stress!

Beautiful place right on the water; when it is busy, campers can move to the meadow opposite. Arrival was a little chaotic because the host could not be found anywhere. Another camper said things were very relaxed here and that you should park wherever you like. One star deducted because of the sanitary facilities—they are not cleaned regularly and are therefore very unhygienic. We paid €20 per person per night. A very beautiful and relaxing stay!

Nice place but not adequate for peak-season demand; unfortunately, it is not easy to find a campsite in this area at the end of July, as it is overrun! The result: an unfriendly welcome, dirty and inadequately maintained sanitary facilities, and cold shower water. Thus, €20 per person per night seems very expensive!
