I agree with Val and Lolo: an ideal stopover. On the other hand, there is no shade, but it is truly a beautiful place.
We spent one night here and woke up to a view of the lake. A barbecue and tables are available. I recommend the place.
Beautiful view of the mountains. Ducks and coots.
Very relaxing and charming place. There is a small lake, tables, secure barbecues, and dry toilets. We spent a very peaceful night. Thanks to the municipality for making this place available free of charge and maintaining it so well.
Wonderful place with magnificent views. Quiet, with hiking and mountain-biking trails starting here. Very good.
Beautiful and peaceful. Dry toilet (take your own paper), bins and picnic benches. Few people in the day walkers and fishermen but very few. We were alone at night and most of the next day. So very peaceful. Lots of walks nearby and not too far from a village with shops etc. Stunning views.
Great spot in the countryside beside a small lake reserved only for fishermen. No services, but picnic tables, barbecues, and dry toilets. A service area is 3 km away. Top-notch.
Great spot in the warmer months. We stayed on December 30. It was very windy, with few sheltered places, and we were cold. But in good weather it must be excellent, especially with children: space to play and no cars nearby. Dry toilets, recycling bins, and the possibility of barbecuing.
Great place! Quiet and with an amazing view! Toilet is clean and open. Huge thanks to Commune!
A lovely, peaceful time with plenty of space for vans. If you love nature and everything that comes with it—animals, cowbells, and ducks—you will be in the right place! I recommend it! The only small negative is that the toilets were out of service.
Second stop on the road trip, still wild camping. We arrived at night. There was a dry toilet on site, with the associated smell. Some people around, not much shade, but sheltered from the road, and a superb wake-up view of the mountains.
Great place. Congratulations to the municipality for this beautiful spot.
Lovely little spot for one night, just as described. Clean dry toilet and well-equipped site. Thanks to the municipality.
A very beautiful view. Very accessible. Dogs allowed. Fishing allowed. A very quiet night with the sounds of ducks and cows.
Very beautiful and peaceful place. We spent two nights there.
This one is worth the detour—what a delightful place. We spent a quiet night near the cows.
Paradisiacal place... We spent a very peaceful night there, with 3 other motorhomes...
Very quiet spot for us in early June. Clean dry toilets with large bins next to them. Parking space with a view of the mountains and lake. Pleasant little walk around the lake. Not far from a small town with shops. Perfect.
A very natural place, yes, but... a medium-voltage power line passes almost directly above the parking spaces. Too bad. So it's a no for us.
Perfect for spending a night after a restaurant visit in Saint Bonnet! The scenery is superb and the toilets are clean.
We stayed for two nights; a very pleasant, clean and quiet place. Please leave it in this condition when you depart.
Matches the previous descriptions. Very quiet and open.
Very beautiful and quiet place. Be careful about the road though; it is not accessible to large vehicles. We have a 7-meter motorhome and, because it was raining, we slipped a little.
Great spot, with room for 5–6 motorhomes/vans. Very clean toilets, several picnic tables and a barbecue area provided. The view is superb and the place is very peaceful for the night!
Magnificent at sunset, divine at sunrise. Quiet and peaceful spot. Benches with a table for a fresh breakfast, with the sun at your back warming you... pure happiness. I recommend it.
Parking in front of the lake. There are bins and a dry toilet. Very peaceful.
We spent one night there, a great spot beside a small lake. Very quiet and clean. A dry toilet is available.
Amazing and peaceful spot beside a lake. Dry toilets are provided.
Very small, quiet lake for a break and to spend the night...
Very good spot with a picnic table and dry toilets. We fished there. Quiet for a Saturday night at the end of June. A place just the way we like them. Perfect for us.
Very good spot that is starting to get quite full, with dry toilets, bins and a small farm 200 meters away. Pleasant and very quiet place.
