A flat parking area at Tron summit, 1666 meters above sea level, with breathtaking 360° views, picnic tables, and dry toilets. It is the 2nd highest place in Norway reachable by vehicle. Access is via a toll track that is steep in places but in good condition, and vehicles larger than a van are not recommended. The fee is 150 NOK for a maximum stay of 48h; four-wheel drive is recommended above 2,5t.

A dreamlike place! From 2.5 tonnes onward, I would recommend approaching only with four-wheel drive (4x4). It costs NOK 150 for a maximum stay of 48 hours. The reception is great—full 5G coverage.
