Been here?
This is an overnight stop at Cairn Lodge motorway services, best suited to the autocaravan parking furthest from the motorway. Parking now costs £15 for 24 hours, and the site is relatively quiet there, although motorway noise remains. The services provide clean toilets, excellent showers, a shop, cafe and restaurant; after 10pm, pay at the petrol station.

Great stop here. Relatively quiet, especially if you follow the signs to the autocaravan parking and park on the side furthest from the motorway. About 5 vans there. If you arrive after 10pm you will need to pay at the petrol station where there are toilets and a shop. Staff super friendly and amazing produce in the farm shop. £15. Didn’t use the showers but they did look great.
Great little spot, relatively quiet for a service station. Really clean toilets and washroom plus great showers. Good value for £15.
Nice stop. Lots of available parking for the night. Parking costs £15 now for 24 hours.
Super-clean showers, £10 for cars overnight, with a little motorway noise but easy to sleep through. The lodge has a restaurant and a shop, useful for breakfast and/or dinner. Not many cars at night and no problems.Translating
It’s now gone upto £15 for campers, less space due to electric charge points & the road is loud as you now have to park against the road side
Bougie farm shop. Just stopped for a lovely hot shower!
Luxury grocery store with excellent products. You have to pay for parking at the shop checkout. But, stuck between the motorway and the national road, the noise is unbearable. I paid but I’m leaving.Translating
Great for a one night stopover. Shop, cafe and other facilities are outstanding. There is a lot of road noise due to proximity to the motorway but personally this doesn't bother me.
I spent one night with my van, and it was one of the best service areas I have used. Quiet, secure and very well maintained, with clean facilities and safe parking. The food is excellent, with a farm shop offering fresh, quality products.Translating
Stayed here before heading to the ferry for Arran in the morning. Great place to stop, with excellent toilets and free hot showers, which are pristine. Free parking for first 3 hours. £10 per vehicle for 24 hours. The services, toilets and showers close from 10pm to 7am, but alternative toilets and showers are available through the night at the petrol station on the same site.
Excellent stopover, excellent food, everything very clean. Staff always very helpful. A little motorway noise, nothing to prevent a good night’s rest.Translating

we've stayed at Cairn Lodge a few times and have always had a good night. However this time (May 2024) it has been really noisy with constant heavy traffic from the road. If you do stay here be aware that parking below the street lamps may also be a problem as the one we parked under flickered all night. We won't stay here in the future.
It's always been £10 per 24hr period but you stay for free for 3 hrs. Cafe / restaurant / farm shop all open until 10pm. Toilets and showers are 5*. Fuel is expensive. Campervan / Caravan area slowly been over taken with EV charging points.
The first 3 hours are free, then £8 per 24 hours. Super clean free showers and a modest but good little restaurant. Perfect!Translating
Clean shower, nice and hot also. There are really good pork pies in the farmshop. Did not sleep this time but have stayed before, paid £10 for the night but had 2 showers that time and good food
