Been here?
This isolated wild spot is a quiet overnight parking area surrounded by an idyllic landscape, with walking trails nearby. The ground is mostly uneven or steep, and there are no amenities. A beautiful viewpoint is about 1km away on foot, while the access road is narrow but manageable.

Very quiet place, even though we were not alone. Parking area not level. Idyllic landscape all around.
This is a great spot. Lots of walking trails and a decent hike up the nearby mountain which has amazing views. The road was a little thin getting in but very manageable
Isolated, far from roads, very relaxing. No amenities. A magnificent viewpoint is a 1 km walk away. Very little space to park level, and the rest of the car park is very steep! Weak 4G signal. A few walkers.
Beautiful, quiet place to spend the night. A few hikers arrived in the morning.
Very quiet place, we were the only ones. Very little level ground, so we parked far down; leveling ramps are useful. We had an incredibly quiet night, with only a plane very rarely. The road up was manageable with a 6.40 m panel van.
Nice and quiet spot. Also nice view of the mountains.
Ideal for a peaceful night. Sloped, except lower down in the car park. Surrounded by hiking trails; I recommend doing Vårlivarden, a superb viewpoint at the summit.
Great place. Quiet in nature. Easily accessible. Yes, there is a beautiful viewpoint nearby from Varlivarden, 3.5 kilometres round trip. Be careful: there is a lot of climbing using hands and feet at times, definitely not an easy route, but the 360-degree view is magnificent, including Stavanger and the coastline. Bring some blocks, as the ground is not completely level. 4G reception is intermittent and often poor.
Very quiet in the middle of nature and a great starting point for beautiful hikes, but the approach is very narrow on an unpaved surface.
June - quite place, surrounded by hills. Close are sheeps and cows so a lot of sounds.
Good for one night. Access is narrow, but no problem with our motorhome, which is 2.30 m wide.
