18 Friars Avenue, SW15 3DU, London
Been here?
A quiet residential road beside a large open green space and close to Richmond Park. Traffic noise is minimal, although some movement occurs morning and evening and foxes are present. A nearby bus stop provides access toward central London, making this better for short one- or two-night visits.

We spent one night here on July 18. It was fairly quiet despite the presence of many foxes. It is not the most beautiful place, but excellent for visiting Richmond Park, for example.
Right next to Richmond Park. Quiet. Space for a few Campervan’s. Close to the city. Loved it!
We did not feel comfortable here at all. We would also have been very reluctant to leave our vehicle there unattended. That is why we drove on the next morning.
If you are lucky enough to get one of the popular spaces, it is a great base for trips into London—the bus is only a two-minute walk away—or Wimbledon, 20–30 minutes on foot. Within walking distance there is a huge Asda supermarket with a public toilet, as well as other small shops and fast-food outlets. A lovely park is right next door.
Great location for going into London, and free and safe parking. There is a large meadow right next to it and a 24-hour supermarket around the corner.
