This sloping wild parking spot is above Courmayeur, beside a noisy river and near the start of several hiking routes. The narrow, unpaved access road is suitable for vans but not recommended for motorhomes, with a maximum height of 3.50m and closure when snow-covered. Morning hikers create activity from early hours, and overnight bivouacking is reportedly prohibited throughout the Aosta region, with a possible fine of 560€.

On a slope near the river; there is phone signal. We left at 7:30 and everything went fine.
Not a peaceful place: people pass by even at 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. heading to the trails. It was a Thursday in June, so I do not want to imagine the weekend. It is also very steep. The view is what saves it. Not recommended for anyone who dislikes the sound of the river, which is only a few meters away.
Early wake-up! WARNING: Wild camping is prohibited throughout the Aosta region. Camping-car areas are mandatory; the fine is €560. The warden was understanding, so there was no ticket this time.
Good spot to leave your car for several days while hiking the TMB. It is also one of the few places where your car will not be towed. I would not camp here with a tent.
Lovely spot at the start of hiking trails, with a small view of Mont Blanc. Almost nobody at night, but the parking area is full during the day with hikers setting off. Narrow, unpaved road to access it, but fine for a van. The spot is sloping.
Attention! In snowy conditions the road is closed. Access is not wide, and the maximum height is 3.50 m. Also watch out for branches and trees. Fine for vans, but not for motorhomes.
Narrow road, there is maybe one somehow flat place. Otherwise quite steep for sleeping. Dry toilet was OK. Quite place exept for morning hikers (TMB, around 8:00). Stream is not accesible from parking lot, you have to walk to bridge (200m?).
Very beautiful and quiet place; getting there with a micro-camper or car is no problem. Unfortunately extremely uneven, with no level area to stand on, or we did not find the right spot. The first hikers pass by from 8 a.m.
Getting there is very narrow and bumpy.
The local authorities came at 9:30 pm and told us that it’s forbidden to stay here overnight. Plus the road up is very narrow, wouldn’t try with a big van / motorhome.
Quiet place, with the sound of waterfalls, pleasant for the night! Be careful with accessibility; we are in a van and it is fine if you drive slowly, but I am not sure it is accessible to motorhomes.
