This video-monitored underground car park is near a tram running directly to central Florence in less than 10mn. It costs 1€ per hour and has a 2,1m height limit. Despite the original description, a recent comment says it is not suitable for campers.

Great parking lot in Florence! Easy to access and really cheap for the city—€1 per hour! Very close to the tram, which takes you directly to the city center in under 10 minutes.
Not suitable for campers.
Easy-to-find underground parking garage that looks safe, with several video cameras. There is even a water tap next to the payment machine. A tram to the city center in 20 minutes is nearby.
