8-12 Avenue du Sidobre, 81490, Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme
Been here?
This free village parking area at Place Fernand Raynaud has drinking water, bins, and very clean public toilets with paper. It is generally very quiet, although the church bells ring at 7am, 12pm, and 7pm. The asphalt may become hot in summer, and Free mobile internet reception can be poor. A pizza truck visits on Thursday evenings.

I spent one night here; very quiet and very clean, including the toilets. Thanks to the municipal employees. Only 4 stars because it may be hot in summer on this asphalt parking area, and the Internet connection was poor (Free operator).
When we arrived at this spot, we went for a walk and finally settled between the football pitch and the covered tennis court. Very, very quiet. I confirm that the toilets are very clean, with toilet paper.
In the middle of the village, I was able to sleep peacefully.
Very peaceful night, woken by the bells at 7am. Perfect public toilets, drinking water, and a great pizza truck on Thursday evening!
It's a standard car park, but it exists and allows you to stay in the evening after a lovely hike. The bells ring at noon, 7pm and 7am. They are loud because they ring for a long time, but it's not unbearable.
Convenient for hikes and visiting the village. No water today, so we did not stay overnight.
This place is perfect, apart from the bell tower. Luxury toilets with water and toilet paper, a pétanque court, and a bar opposite, although it closes early. We are going to stay for 2 days. For shopping, there is a Carrefour in Lacrouzette less than 10 km away.
