This is a large, flat mountain clearing with picnic tables, benches and a fire pit or grill. It offers wide views, with sunrise and sunset visible, and has no waste disposal. Access should be from Giano dell’Umbria; the final section is unpaved but was manageable with a 13x2.5m vehicle. The alternative route toward Massa Martana is very steep, narrow and badly damaged.

Very large open area with 2 or 3 picnic tables and a grill. The area is flat and completely sunny. Sunrise and sunset are clearly visible. The approach from Giano dell’Umbria is recommended; I think the other road is entirely unpaved, but I do not know its condition.
Beautiful place from which to watch the sunrise and sunset!
A truly dreamy spot with views all around. Unfortunately, we were there in rain and a storm, so we positioned ourselves somewhat sheltered from the wind near the entrance to the parking area.
Dreamlike, with no prohibition signs. Large, levelled grassy area with benches and a barbecue area. A kilometer farther uphill, visit Rifugio Gaspare for a meal.
