9 Boulevard du Général de Gaulle, 29100, Douarnenez
Been here?
This free parking area near the port and town centre is currently affected by works, with reduced spaces. It is beside the road and has no infrastructure, garbage bins or sanitary facilities. Access is easy, but road traffic, a nearby night bar and weekend nighttime noise can make sleeping difficult.

Work is being carried out in the area. Spaces are reduced. We tried to spend the night from Saturday to Sunday. It was impossible to sleep: young people were drinking and smoking with loud music. In my opinion, avoid it on weekends.
Okay, close to the port and town center, good for sightseeing. We did not spend the night there.
Easy-to-access parking. Noisy at night. Close to the road and a late-night bar. We moved at 2 a.m. a little farther along this street. Parking with a sign authorizing five motorhomes. The rest of the night was quieter, but it was impossible to add this location on Park4Night.
Easy to access but very sad, and the town is covered in graffiti. We preferred to leave quickly after touring this old town. Although the streets are clean, the town looks dirty because of the graffiti.
The site is directly on the road, partly blocked by a construction fence, although no construction site is visible. No infrastructure, rubbish bins, or sanitary facilities. Free.
Under construction. Parking prohibited.
Old parking areas along the quays, with a view of the port, but Douarnenez is heavily tagged and not very attractive.
Just fine to park and visit the town. Part was cordoned off, and a couple of vans there in the morning, but we found a slot for 7.5 m van
Thanks so much to the community for this excellent park up. Got a thumbs up from 2 locals to confirm ok to stay overnight.
Within sight of the large bridge, directly by the water. Ten minutes into town. No height or length restrictions. With clever parking, space for 10–12 motorhomes.
The owner of the nearby pub kindly came to tell us not to stay here, because the pub closes at 6 a.m. and young people make noise and sometimes damage motorhomes. We are moving on.
