Been here?
This is a relaxed farmer’s campsite spread across 2 large meadows with freely chosen pitches. The atmosphere is alternative and somewhat untidy, with friendly operators and many permanent residents. Sanitary facilities include hot water, but recent comments say the washrooms need more frequent cleaning. The location is convenient for cycling to the beach, Bergen, Alkmaar, and surrounding dunes and woodland.

Great place, friendly operators. Yes, it is somewhat different and, just as already described, not for narrow-minded people. The washroom could be cleaned more often and the sinks were really uninviting. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable, and you can take wonderful bike rides to the beach and Alkmaar. We would come back.
What an amazing place. Yes, it is a farm campsite with permanent residents and unusual campers. Hippie vibes, messy, but oh, how I love it here. The relaxed atmosphere, friendliness and everyone helping one another. I enjoyed it and will return for a longer stay this summer. Ideal perhaps not for people wanting a certain level of luxury, but if you are free-spirited, this is the place!
What a wonderful alternative place. A somewhat hippie-like atmosphere, but perfectly fine for staying a few days. The facilities are good and you can choose your own pitch. Looking past the messy first impression helps you have a great camper experience here.
I do not recommend it unless it is an emergency. We went because we needed somewhere to sleep. The bathrooms are very dirty and the staff are not very attentive. They also charged us €30.
A lovely campsite for people who take things easy. Spacious pitches, pleasant atmosphere and a slightly old-school hippie feel. Good facilities. A place to return to. Pieter, the owner, is a friendly and sociable man. Great location for the woods, dunes and beach, and the village of Bergen and city of Alkmaar are within cycling distance.
A place with atmosphere, with a bit of a hippie feel, giving the impression that some nonconformists and dropouts have found a home here. Everything was available in the facilities and I did not miss anything. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during my stay; I would have loved to experience it. However, anyone looking for glamping sites is in the wrong place here.
A very unusual place. There were many permanent campers, but quite different from what you normally see. Large, beautiful meadows with plenty of space for everyone. As another visitor described it perfectly: not for narrow-minded people! We felt very comfortable!
Very “creative” campsite, messy everywhere but with extremely kind operators, hot showers and hot water for washing. Permanent residents, a strange but peaceful situation.
Large, basic site where you can always find a pitch with electricity. The facilities are an old but functional typical Dutch campsite building, with hot water in the showers. We walked to the nearest bus stop for Alkmaar, about 10 minutes, and took the bus into town for €1 per adult. Everything was represented, from ancient campers to large liners. Not for narrow-minded people! €30 all-inclusive.
Staff was super friendly and did let us use the services without staying the night. We only stopped by to refuel on fresh water. Good spot for a short stay.
A place not worth the detour. It is a bit rough and a real accumulation of everything and nothing. The main room is truly peculiar, including the smell. €30 for one night on muddy ground—fortunately it did not rain, otherwise I do not know how I would have got out. I find it excessive and disproportionate.
Somehow, this place has something about it. The meadow is good for parking. All in all, it is somewhat unclear and run-down. There is a lot of stuff lying around. We preferred not to use the facilities. Suitable for passing through or visiting Alkmaar if you are self-sufficient and enjoy adventure.
The facilities are very old and dirty. The two meadows used as pitches are OK. Fine for a short stay, but I would not recommend it for longer.
Quiet place. The facilities are reasonably clean, but the dishwashing area is grubby. The yard is chaotic and neglected. Open fires are allowed.
The entrance looks somewhat chaotic, but the site itself is very nice. We spent a quiet night. Electricity, water, wastewater and disposal facilities are all available. The facilities are clean. Nice starting point for bike rides.
