A wonderful view, a magical place. The lady is very sweet and extremely helpful if you need anything.Translating
This is the most paradisiacal place in Otranto. Anyone who loves nature and peace, or enjoys meditation, absolutely must come here. Giovanna is a lovely woman; if you need anything, just ask and she will do everything she can for you.Translating
The first impression was freaky and out of another era. The welcome (Maria also speaks English) was very warm, funny, and attentive; breakfast and dinner were genuine home cooking à la Nonna. The main house is almost a museum. The outdoor showers are showing their age but functional; fresh water and electricity are available at the pitch. I cannot say anything about wastewater or toilet emptying. All in all, worth seeing!Translating
Very quirky place: the two owners do not speak a word of English, only Italian. They do not take cards, only cash, and the exact amount because they have no change. We were the only ones there, even though there were many pitches and Oasy Park was fully booked. Many campers simply stayed overnight in the daytime car park at the port, which is apparently tolerated. Naturally, there is no infrastructure here.Translating
The place is nice and the owners welcoming, but… When we arrived, there was only an outdoor shower. We were offered an indoor shower, but were then charged extra (even though the shower was archaic and dirty). We paid €30 for the night, although the advertised price was €20. Dogs bark at night, which can be disturbing.Translating
The two charming ladies Maria and Teresa have preserved a wonderfully decorated place here that represents the charm of old Italy. We were warmly welcomed with coffee and cake. In the morning there was a hearty Italian breakfast and the multi-course evening meal was excellent. We were allowed to use the shower in a B&B room. The hypogeum is truly unique!Translating
Pitch in full sun. Shower visible to everyone. Well, you can see that when you arrive. But stray dogs barking all night. Staff arriving at 5:30 in the morning and deliberately honking to wake you up… I find that unacceptable. They do not want campers. They do not offer the service. Avoid if you want some peace and quiet.Translating
Friendly welcome, one night for a camper, two adults and electricity €25 cash. We were told we could use the swimming pool, which we did, but then had to pay another €7 per chair. Beautiful pool but not very well maintained (green water), which is a shame because it has all the potential. We used the outdoor shower and did not stay to eat there either! As for the B&B, I certainly would not go there.Translating
Yes, really, everything is a little dusty and old, but in return you get a peaceful pitch. We were here alone in mid-May. The highlight was two very eccentric old ladies. They alone are worth a visit, and if you are looking for the real Italy, this is exactly the right place. The two even cooked for us. The starters were excellent. The rest declined somewhat, but it was edible.Translating
A large area. We were able to arrive easily with a motorhome and trailer. Yes, everything is showing its age, but we had a toilet and shower on board. If you are holidaying in old Italy and only expect modern standards, this is not the place for you. We appreciate the warm welcome and authentic food, and they make us happy. We had a lovely, peaceful night.Translating
