Been here?
Simple, quiet campsite with separate tent and motorhome areas, including 5 motorhome spaces. A beautiful beach is 5 minutes on foot, and the Castro can be reached by trails in about 15 minutes. The sanitary facilities are clean but old, with blocked shower drains and no hot water for washing dishes. The bar offers drinks and morning bread service, while the pool may remain closed in mid-June.

So far, the nicest campsite on our Portugal/Spain trip. Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful operators. The really lovely beach is a five-minute walk away. Perfect for relaxing! The sanitary facilities are very clean, and there is a bar with good cappuccino and croissants! Highly recommended!
A simple, quiet campsite, recommended if you like that. €24 for 2 people and a camper without electricity (cash only). The nearest supermarket is about 5 km away. Bakery service available in the morning. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. The sanitary facilities are clean but unfortunately very old, hence only 4 stars. The access road is very steep; there is a second, easier one—just ask the operator.
Very basic site, OK for 2 to 3 nights. Be careful on the access road; our VW Cali grounded on the rear. Better park below and walk to reception. Clean toilets, blocked shower drains. No hot water for washing dishes. The bar is simply equipped. Bread-roll service available. The motorhome pitches outside are very nice. Short walk to a superb beach with dolphins.
Quiet campsite. 15 minutes from the Castro via the trails
Welcoming campsite in an unbeatable setting. You can walk to the beach and the Castro de Baroña. Highly recommended.
We intended to go to this place, but unfortunately, although our messages were seen, they did not reply to confirm whether we could arrive or not. We understand that it is a place that does not take reservations, and therefore we could only write a couple of days in advance to find out whether arrival was possible. We would have appreciated a “not possible” rather than simply no response.
We spent a few very pleasant days here. A little paradise, I think. A very friendly owner, clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, and the beach/cliffs behind the campsite are a dream :) However, the fine black sand from the site is now everywhere in my car. Nevertheless, I would come back anytime.
Wildly romantic, warm and welcoming with children, we arrived spontaneously, relaxed, peaceful and unobtrusive atmosphere—we want to come back!
I could go into detail, but I’ll be brief: IT’S PARADISE, exactly that. Delimited pitches with hedges, sea view, super quiet and peaceful, good restaurant, spectacular sunsets, etc. The employees are very professional, an incredible area.
A wonderful place to relax, arrive and switch off. The operators are very nice and the sanitary facilities are always clean. We arrived in the middle of the night, but that was no problem; we stayed in contact with the operator via WhatsApp on the way, so he stayed awake. The walk to the beach takes about 5–10 minutes through a lovely little forest. If you’re lucky, as we were, you can spot dolphins.
Cosy family camping in a beautiful location, a quiet beach can be reached on foot. Super friendly staff, and great atmosphere. We loved it here !
A really beautiful site! It is actually less a classic campsite and more a surfer lounge with lots of young people. Some tent pitches and the few motorhome pitches are somewhat sloped. The owners are super nice and relaxed. The showers and toilets are basic but very clean. We love it here and stayed longer than planned. Unfortunately, there is no washing machine.
After touring around from place to place this was the perfect location to stop & unwind. Great views. 2 adults + AC = 25€. We stayed a wonderful 3 days, there is walking along the coast path, there is a remarkable Iron Age Fort, and there is the wonderful beach, with plenty of room for naturists, non-naturists, surfers and dog-owners. It has a popular & reasonably priced bar and a hippie vibe.
A wonderful oasis of peace; in the motorhome area there are many shady spots, enough space between neighbors, and great sunsets directly from the pitch. Good internet reception with O2 and Telekom. A 10-minute walk to the beach, surfing is quite good, and you can watch dolphins. It is worth it.
