Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This hidden forest spot offers exceptional views over Lake Como, with peaceful nights and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. There is room for several vehicles, but solitude is not guaranteed, and no nearby services are mentioned. The dirt and gravel access road has potholes and muddy sections, though recent visitors reached it with small vans and ordinary cars. Wild-boar hunting is signposted on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 1 November and 31 January.

A hidden spot that is definitely worth the detour! The view at sunset and sunrise is magnificent, with an exceptional panorama over Lake Como. I went there in my converted Ford Fiesta without any problems. I’m including a few photos of the spot.

Great view, quiet place, and we had a wonderful sunset. Easily accessible with a T5.
Quiet place with a beautiful view. Reachable even with a regular non-four-wheel-drive car, with a bit of courage.
Very nice place, dirt and gravel road with a few potholes to reach it, but easily manageable. Some Belgians joined us; there is plenty of space, a quiet night, and a superb view! I recommend it.
Very good place overlooking the lake, accessible for a small van. You can turn around at the end of the road. The route is not known to Google Maps. We were not alone during the two nights we spent here. Wild boar hunting sign: Wednesdays and Saturdays between November 1 and January 31.
Magnificent, quiet forest spot with a superb view! The fireflies were an added bonus!
Isolated place but easy to access with a 4x4. Very quiet, with no houses nearby. There is also a lovely view of the lake and sunset. There is room for several vehicles, so you are not guaranteed to be alone. Nice walks and hikes nearby, such as Monte San Primo.
Thuis description is nonsense. When I came here during a weekend, all the houses were occupied and cars were parked everywhere. And when halfway in october the hunting season starts, there is nowhere anything quite left.
Beautiful, quiet place and easily accessible with suitable vehicles. I arrived comfortably in a pickup; the unpaved section takes at most two minutes to drive. Stunning view of Lake Como.
Very nice spot; we went there in the rain. The access road was quite muddy, with a few potholes, but nothing impossible. Follow the road and you will get there. The site is slightly sloped, but you can use relatively flat stones to level yourself properly. The vegetation will eventually take over, but for now it is a 10/10 for the view.
Very peaceful, with a lovely little view of the village of Veleso and the lake from a clearing in the countryside. It is an old logging site and the brush is taking over. The view will soon be gone!
Beautiful place with a great view, quiet enough to shower and have a picnic. However, beware of lots of wild animals; we had to change spots after seeing wild boars.
Very nice spot very clean keep it that way ! Amazing vieuw ! Stayed 1 night 4x4 rooftop tent
An extraordinary view of Lake Como. We really enjoyed it.
We arrived by road motorcycle—great spot. No off-roading required, just some ground clearance. Space for two campers.
Breathtaking view, spent a super calm night here. 2 other Vans were here, I think there’s space for maximum 4. The way is totally doable (we don’t have a 4x4) and it’s totally worth it! Saw many fireflies in the night.
Very nice place, magnificent view, and no passing traffic. A few potholes on the road, but nothing serious.
Very quiet place with a beautiful view. Easy to access.
With the right vehicle, namely a 4x4, the road is fine. But it is quite a lot of effort, and although the view is nice, it is not really worth it for the effort. It is not very level either.
Great spot at the end of a rocky road, accessible by 4x4 or van. Nice view of the lake. Quiet at night apart from animal noises; we were woken by the rooster and cows.
