Price 40e night. Very calm and nice place. This place is not hot. We didn’t use toilets and showers, so I can’t say about it. But water is collected slowly and you can’t use a big tank, just small 5liters. Very nice staff and restaurant!

Quiet campsite in the countryside with lots of shade. Friendly welcome. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were old and dirty, and there was no possibility of ordering bread or anything similar. At such a remote site, that is unacceptable. We paid €110 for a van, two people and electricity, which in our view was completely excessive.

Great campsite. Do not expect luxury, but the owners are very friendly, the food is good and there are shady pitches—in short, a cosy, welcoming campsite! It is a 14-minute cycle to Orio town and beach. The station is nearby, 10 minutes by bike, for taking the train to San Sebastián.

Very large and well-equipped campsite. Large, level pitches. Numerous, clean facilities, and there is also a restaurant at the entrance. We planned to stay just one night, but decided to stay a second after the friendly manager recommended some activities in the area. I would come back.

We spent two nights at this wonderful campsite during our motorhome trip and had a fantastic time. Surrounded by nature, it is a peaceful, quiet place, perfect for relaxing. The staff are extremely kind, always available and full of great advice. Excellent location, also well connected by train. Having a bar and restaurant is an added bonus. Highly recommended!

In the countryside, welcoming and French-speaking. Rustic sanitary facilities. Hot water for washing dishes: the tap is above the bidet.

It is a quiet campsite; the pitches are large, private, shady and surrounded by natural countryside. The showers are satisfactory and sufficient for the few people staying during our visit in the last week of June, and they are very close to the pitches. Calm, family-style reception. Reasonable conditions and prices compared with the others nearby.

Not a great campsite, but it has everything you need. Facilities quite clean. The one bin for organic waste was emptied (other bins are outside of campsite). 32,50 for two people, one van. We usually don’t need electricity but they didn’t ask and just charged us €6 for it, so we used it. Lots of places with shade, we asked for one but the sun moved quickly so we were in the sun in the afternoon.

On the positives it was a shady site which was very welcome. The 1 small bin was overflowing, I pointed this out and was told to walk out of the campsite entrance for the bin.The floor of the shower/ toilet area was dirty. The one hot water tap for washing up was positioned over the toilet where you empty the black waste! All for 32 euros, vastly over priced and not a good experience.

Lovely campsite, great welcome, large grassy and wooded pitches, with a small river along the edge. All the necessary comforts, with the possibility of eating on site. Its activist commitment is clearly displayed—we love it! €27.50 per night for one van and two people. Leave whenever you want, tourist tax included. Electricity available, washing machine and dryer €4 including detergent. I recommend it!

Very good place, quiet campsite. Camper pitch with electricity, one person and a pet: €33 in high season, among the cheapest in the area. Pitches of all sizes. Clean bathrooms. The only problem I noticed is that when it rains the pitches become muddy; that does not bother me. Otherwise everything was fine. In an area with lots of trees and vegetation.

Campsite in a wonderful green oasis. We have a 7.5-metre motorhome; the climb is narrow but manageable. Inside, you can manoeuvre carefully and there is enough space. The vegetarian bar serves very tasty food. There is no mobile coverage and Wi-Fi is only available at the bar. It is a little far from everything without a vehicle, but staying in this place is wonderfully relaxing.

The site is a dump with very little or no maintenance, expensive for the services offered (€44 for a motorhome, two people and two dogs). Not suitable for 7-metre motorhomes, with little signage. The restaurant is entirely vegan! The bathroom and shower doors are roller shutters! I will never come back, even if they paid me. I would give it a negative star, but the website does not allow it.

The only campsite near San Sebastián that accepts guests without reservations. We arrived at 11 a.m. and got one of the last pitches, so you need to arrive early. The campsite is far from the city centre and surrounded by forest, pleasant in summer even though it is a little damp. There is a train from Orio, 2 km from the campsite, to San Sebastián in 25 minutes or to Bilbao.

In the middle of nature and very beautiful, although the lower pitches for caravans are not sufficiently reinforced and become muddy. The main sanitary facility is mixed and inadequate. The price for two nights was okay, and we were able to arrive spontaneously via an adventurous access road. Waste separation is encouraged, but the bins were overflowing. Good location for seeing many things.

It is okay. Very large and remote campsite, with no data or coverage. However, it is too far from the village; you cannot go anywhere without a car. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean for the number of people there, but if several taps were open at once, the water pressure was very, very low. Like everywhere in the Basque Country, expensive for what it offers. €37 for a van and two people.

I do not recommend it. The price is high for very small pitches that are extremely muddy. The sanitary facilities are clean.

Rustic nature campsite. Pitches arranged in terraces. Sanitary building on the upper level, rustic but functional and usable.

In the middle of the forest, we arrived without a reservation, were welcomed in French—which was nice—and installed in a space large enough for our van. Quiet. Sanitary facilities very clean despite their visibly outdated appearance. I recommend it.

We arrived at 5 p.m.; the gates were open and nobody was at reception. We settled in. At 6 p.m. a woman came to tell us the campsite was closed and that we had to leave. We negotiated and she agreed to let us stay the night, but for €50 in cash with no services. €20 would be okay, but €50 is truly a rip-off! Everything looks completely run-down and decrepit. We left and do not recommend the place at all—run away.

Ideal for getting out of the city and truly feeling closer to nature. It is beautiful. There were hardly any people, perhaps that is also why our stay was more special and peaceful. Thirty minutes by bike from Zarautz. Highly recommended for cyclists! It is also a cheaper option than the campsite in Zarautz.

For €50 per day you get Wi-Fi, but only at reception. Forget the entrecôte at the restaurant; it is vegetarian with a vegan tendency. Fortunately, I managed to eat a piece of tortilla! The showers and toilets are mixed, but located in the men’s area, so you have to go at midnight to be alone! Oh yes, the road to this paradise: pray that nobody is coming the other way, because there is not enough room to pass!

Beautiful campsite in the forest. Friendly staff. Sanitary facilities okay. The vegetarian burgers in the restaurant were rather uncreative. Overall, okay for one or two nights at the price.

We called two hours ahead asking for a spot for our camper van, we were confirmed it was available but when we arrived the camping was full (indeed they do not take reservations). A waste of time and energy since we could not find a place in other campings in the neighbourhood, it was too late by then.

We spent one night here; it was very good and welcoming, with a good restaurant. It is better to have an awning because the pitch was very sunny. Perfect.

Quiet, fully wooded campsite. Reservations are not possible; arrive at 9 a.m. and queue for a pitch. Sanitary facilities and children’s playground are outdated, with no hot water for washing dishes, but hot showers.

Campsite set in nature, quiet. Very welcoming staff. It is the only one in the area that lets you wait in line and assigns a pitch as people check out. I really liked its simple, respectful and ecological style. Highly recommended!

Very relaxed, peaceful place! I liked it. Something I found relaxing, but important to know: there is little reception or internet throughout the site, but there is Wi-Fi in the restaurant/reception, which you can use without ordering anything. No lighting on the paths at night; it was pleasantly quiet and dark.

Recommended campsite, very peacefully located and with a very friendly welcome. In the middle of green countryside yet only 3 km from the beach. Beautiful surroundings for walking. Pitches completely shaded. Delicious vegetarian restaurant. Campers get a smaller pitch than motorhomes. Sanitary facilities are old-fashioned but well maintained. Washing dishes in cold water keeps it from getting a 5/5, but it deserves 4.5/5.

I did not like it. It is idyllically located in the forest but feels a bit like a scout camp. The pitch was so small that there was no room for chairs next to the motorhome. I found €30 rather cheeky for what you get. Sanitary facilities clean, but men and women are not separated. Hardly any mobile reception. Disappointing overall.

Very beautiful place to disconnect from everyday life. Good welcome, okay restaurant, lovely atmosphere with bingo and music, though a little expensive. Very clean toilets, hot water, and people generally respectful of the campsite rules regarding quiet and waste separation. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Be careful if you plan to visit San Sebastián: it was closed to non-residents during our stay because the city was saturated. No 4G on the first level.

We spent one night in a van with two adults and two children, €40. Very warm welcome. Terraced campsite, beware of the climb. Adequate pitch, sanitary facilities okay. Vegetarian restaurant with very good mushroom pizza and burgers. Very nice concert evening. Games room with table tennis, games and trampoline, plus bicycles, scooters and roller skates available for children. Really lovely, peaceful place.
