24 E39, 5414, Stord
Been here?
This is a small, well-maintained campsite directly beside the fjord and the E39, with attractive lower pitches and less appealing upper pitches near the cabins. Toilets and showers are old but clean, and fish registration and boat rental are available. The price is 450 NOK, while a washing-machine cycle costs 5€. Road and ferry traffic can be noisy near the entrance, although the lower area is quieter and has beautiful fjord views.

Basically a good place for a stopover. If you can get a space down below, take it; they are very nice. The showers and toilets are dated but clean. If you arrive with a tent or roof tent, expect noise. A busy road runs right next to the site.
The showers and toilets are clean but old. The lower part has very nice pitches; the upper area near the cabins is so-so. At 450 NOK, it is a bit too expensive. Fine for one night, though. The washing machine costs €5 per cycle.
As someone already wrote: everything you need is available. Unfortunately, we were the last camper allowed onto the site, so we got a place near the road. In the evening and morning, it was very busy with cars from the ferry. But there are beautiful pitches at the bottom of the campsite. See photo. The owner was quite friendly. The sanitary facilities could use modernization.
Very nice place with a view of the fjord. Quiet location. The sanitary facilities are somewhat basic, but well maintained and clean. Ideal for resting and as the last stop before visiting Bergen.
First impression: typically German. The owner is German. The plan is clearly marked and everything is described. The sanitary facilities are dated but clean. 450 NOK does not match what is offered here.
We cannot confirm our previous reviewer’s comments about the owner. She emigrated from Germany, is very pleasant to talk to, helpful, and everything is fine. The site is very well maintained. Everything you need is available. And a view of the fjord... a dream! Last stop before Bergen... highly recommended!
Beautiful campsite with a wonderful view of the fjord. The waste disposal area is quite dirty and smelly. The host is unfriendly and not very willing to work.
Lovely cozy campsite. Designed for only a few guests. Showers, toilets, cooking and washing-up facilities are available, very clean and well maintained. A lovely host family that welcomes you warmly.
Good stopover—everything can be booked online on site, without any problems. Location is okay, directly on the fjord, but also directly on the E39. Washroom clean, everything fine.
We have driven past this place many times, but this time we stopped here for one night. Great place with good facilities and good fishing. We would gladly come back!
Many options along this road.
Very nice owners and super-clean, well-maintained toilets. Showers were available, but we did not use them that day. Great view of the water. Somewhat noisier during the day because of the road, hence one star less. It was quiet at night. You can fish from the pier. Top-notch Wi-Fi.
Perfect, thank you to the municipality. And the cheese is absolutely amazing.
Many options along this road.
We stayed here for one night and everything was perfect. The village is very charming, and the aperitif with beer and cheese is well worth it. The stop also has convenient fresh- and waste-water facilities.
