A rough forest-edge parking spot near the road, with shade, a possible U-turn, and space for large vehicles. It can work for one night and is generally calm, although it is close to a house and the road. Avoid the unpaved ground during rainy weather.

I agree. Not amazing, but it can do in a pinch. We did not stay because it is close to houses and the road.
Good enough for one night… shade, walks… the road is next to it but not too bothersome. quiet
This is a parking area, not paved, so avoid it in rainy weather. It is at the entrance to a forest, right beside the road, but quiet in the middle of nature. On leaving Puntous-sur-l'Adour (65230), toward Trie-sur-Baïse, at the top of the climb on the left. Practical for one night or a lunch stop before continuing your journey.
