Lovely cozy place. Very nice people. We liked it a lot. Everything is easily reachable by bicycle. We found the value for money absolutely fine. We would gladly come again.
Paid €63.60 for two nights for a motorhome with two people, including electricity. Mostly permanent campers.
In our opinion, the campsite is suitable only for a short stopover. We paid €42 for two adults and two children, with showers and waste disposal charged extra. There is no toilet paper, no way to dispose of wastewater, and drinking water can only be fetched laboriously in a container. You can hear trains, motorcycles and cars all night. Much too loud for us.
The current price is €24 for one camper with two people; shower and electricity are extra. Chemical toilet emptying, showers and washing-up facilities, otherwise nothing else. Unfortunately, you cannot see much of the Ruhr either.
We were there and looked at the site; it was already getting dark. Plenty of space, but according to the operator it is fully booked for months. Not even for one night. If they don't want you, that's that.
Quiet oasis in the Ruhr area, friendly welcome, otherwise as described. The current price is €20 for one motorhome and two people. Electricity and shower tokens extra. Nice to be here.
