Been here?
A centrally located motorhome area near the seal station, wave pool, playground, mini golf, dyke, promenade, and beach. It costs €17 for 24 hours, with electricity charged separately, while fresh water and waste disposal are free. Toilets are available next door from 9:00 to 19:00, and shops, bakeries, restaurants, and the sea are within walking distance. The pitches are narrow and somewhat sloping, but nights are quiet.

Very clean, quiet, and just a short walk from the sea and restaurants. Beautiful walks to enjoy. Reasonable price and, above all, free fresh-water, cassette, and grey-water services. Highly recommended.
I have been here for the fourth time and must say it is always beautiful. The toilets in the parking area are clean and open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Everything is easily accessible by bike.
The central location is great. Everything is within walking distance. There are toilets in the neighboring parking area, but they only open from 9 or 10 a.m. There is a disposal station. The pitches are not particularly large.
Good as always. Everything you need is available. Simply a motorhome pitch in a central location.
I can only agree with the previous writers.
Practical motorhome pitch. The seal station in the National Park House opposite is worth seeing. The carers there do wonderful work. Since the station is funded by admission fees and donations, visiting supports a good cause and you learn a lot about the Wadden Sea and why the small seals, or pups, end up there. The pitch is also great for a trip to the island of Norderney.
Absolutely fine for a motorhome-only pitch(!). As described, the spaces are not particularly large, but since we do not spend all day lounging around in the vehicle, they are sufficient and quiet. Some inconsiderate campers do not understand that when the site is full they must not park illegally on the grass or in the parking area, but that has nothing to do with the site itself.
If you want to take a ferry to an island and only spend the night here, the site is fine. Otherwise, the pitches are far too narrow.
Free fresh-water and waste disposal are rarely available. Many thanks for that. One star deducted for the unnecessarily narrow pitches. In high season, a few more motorhomes may fit, but when staying for a few days you want a little more space. Great location, and showers at the Ocean Wave pool for €2 are better than nothing, but they are communal showers—not for everyone.
€17; you can also pay with the app. The pitches are sloped, but it is just manageable without leveling blocks if you are not too sensitive. Tight spaces, but fine just for parking. Electricity and other services cost extra with coin payment. Supermarket about a 20-minute walk away.
The pitches are very tight, and the disposal area is sloped and therefore not ideal. On the other hand, it is quiet at night, you are quickly at the beach, and shops, a bakery, fish snack bar, and restaurants are nearby.
Okay for 1–2 nights. The parking area on the paved lot is sloped and narrow. Fresh-water and waste disposal facilities are somewhat outdated and also sloped, so the tank does not empty completely. Somewhat expensive at €17 per 24 hours.
More cars drive through the site to look around, for whatever reason, than motorhomes.
Currently plenty of space. We consider the tourist tax unnecessary in winter. Otherwise quiet. The pitches are very narrow. Not enjoyable in high season. Fresh-water and waste disposal are easy to access.
I am happy to pay for a motorhome pitch, but the price should match what is offered. That is not the case here.
The pitch matches the description. My recommendation: arrive here early in the day. From 2 p.m. onward, all spaces were occupied despite the 100 parking spaces. The nights were very quiet.
The site is very good, and so is the location. Everything is within walking distance. The beach with accessible entrances is unique and beautifully illuminated in the evening.
We have been coming here for years; the pitch is central yet quiet. Fresh-water and waste disposal are included in the €17 price, plus the €3.50 tourist tax payable everywhere. The fenced dog beach is great; we like it here very much. If you do not like it, all the better… We love this area ❤️
It was okay for one night; the only advantage is its central location.
Too few electrical hookups, unfortunately. Close to the beach and supermarkets in Norden.
In the front area, there is also space on the gravel surface for large motorhomes.
A really beautiful motorhome pitch! The site is large and has electrical hookups, which is very practical. The Ocean Wave swimming pool deserves special mention—it is absolutely great and very close by. The pitch is also in a great location: very central, so you can reach many things quickly. Wonderful bike rides into the surrounding area are also possible from here. We felt completely comfortable and would gladly return!
What is good: card payment. Unfortunately, the bad part is that electricity is not available everywhere, and the payment machine experience with the visitor contribution is unpleasant. The machine is also quite old, everything costs too much for what is offered, and unfortunately I cannot recommend it. The opening hours for exchanging the visitor card are so poorly scheduled that you either arrive too late! Electricity is free in some places and unavailable in others, and there is too little of it!
The place consists essentially only of snack bars and parking areas. To visit the North Sea beyond the dike, €3.50 per person is charged and must be paid at the machine. I bought two tickets for guest cards but could not exchange them for the actual guest cards anywhere because the information container closes at noon and we arrived at 1 p.m.
The toilet at the parking area only opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m.; without a toilet, things are somewhat difficult with children. Showers at the pool cost an extra €2, but you get a full 24-hour stay and fresh-water and waste disposal are included. Since the site is very well located, next to the seal rescue station on one side and the beach on the other, we would return.
Great site, everything is perfect. Toilets and shower: 5 stars.
The site is generally fine and close to the beach, bakery, and restaurants. Unfortunately, there is no toilet directly on site. Showers are available next door at the leisure pool for €2, which is really good otherwise.
You’re already grateful that this site exists at all. Parking is extremely cramped, and power hookups are not available in all areas. The site is usually completely overcrowded in summer.
A great camping spot with many nearby options for families with children. Free water, and waste disposal is also possible. We stayed relatively far back in a dead end, so it was very quiet.
Very large site for a great many motorhomes. Partly paved, partly grass. Very close to the dike. Bakery 300 m away. At €19.55, with EasyPark possible, plus €3.50 per person for the visitor card, it is not cheap. Especially since there are no showers or toilets. Public toilets are about 200 m away. Apart from the price, the site is quite okay.
It is okay... it would be great if there were showers and a toilet here, especially for this enormously high price!
We stayed two nights on the paved section. Very close to the neighbors. The grass area offers more space. Very long cables are sometimes needed for electricity. Water and waste facilities are excellent. Payment is easy via the app.
Nice large site. We stayed on the grass/gravel area and it worked very well despite the rain. You can stay on the paved section, but the pitches are much closer together there. Payment is possible at the machine or in the morning with the friendly staff in the container.
1 person, 1 camper van, €17, €1.80 tourist tax. Quiet, electricity €1. Toilet about 200 m away during the day in the car park.
There are two parking machines, one currently out of order. Otherwise, we were very satisfied and would gladly return.
No cash payment possible? Count us out! Cash is king.
Great camping spot. Two parking machines at the entrance; electricity is paid for directly at the post with coins. We stayed there for two nights with two children and thought it was fantastic. The site is pleasantly quiet and clean. The swimming pool and seal station are a five-minute walk away. Great playground; the maze is recommended. Definitely take the ferry to Norderney or Juist; it is a 30-minute walk.
We stayed for three nights and liked it very much. Everything is within walking distance. We cannot understand the negative comments. You have some control over the distance between pitches, and fortunately nobody here depends on cash. Check-in is guaranteed 24/7. There are also enough electricity connections, 2 kW for €1. Clear recommendation.
