Fjord viewpoint, crowded tourist buses

You can only manage here with some persistence: stop and wait, someone always leaves. Nevertheless, patience and consideration are needed amid the bustle.

Beautiful place to go to, but it is impossible to even stay for a moment, not to mention leaving the car. Maybe if there are no coaches with thousands of tourists it gets better. The crowd is terrifying

I find you all very harsh about this viewpoint. Yes, there are many people because access is very easy, and it is not always easy to park with all the buses. We went in the evening and were almost alone. There is a short walk on the right of the viewpoint leading to another viewpoint (look on Maps.me and go to the second binoculars). The view there is magnificent, and it is much quieter. In our opinion, this is one of the most beautiful views of the fjord and it is easily accessible.

Very useful for stopping at the viewpoint, but far too few spaces, and all the cruise-ship buses stop here too. Hopelessly overcrowded.

It’s a nice lookout. Beware of the tourist busses. As a camper I wouldn’t stay the night here, it’s just parking.

Beware: in October there can be several centimeters of fresh snow here! Without snow chains there is no chance because it is a mountain pass. The snowplow only comes sporadically.

We only stopped for the magnificent view, but I would not call it a shower—it was an experience! It is a waterfall beside the road.

When we were here, three cruise ships had just docked and four tour buses were parked up here. We preferred to shower elsewhere. We were already glad to get past the buses in the van.
