A39, TA5 1SE, Bridgwater
Been here?
Car park beside National Trust land, now reported as suitable for overnight stays without parking restrictions. Only a couple of spaces are completely flat, although other areas are usable and a 7m motorhome can manoeuvre easily. The adjacent A39 was recently described as not too busy overnight. There are attractive walks into the hills, woodlands, Hodders, and Holford Coombe.

Great spot to spend the night. No restrictions on parking overnight. Only a couple of truly flat spots but others that will do. Only one other van in the car park overnight and the road was not too busy at all, didn’t disturb us sleeping. Amazing walks to Hodders and Holford Coombe that we would highly recommend!
Definitely not an overnighter ! no restrictions, no hassle at all but the traffic is incessant all night !
No signs to restrict overnight parking. Adjacent A39 is noisy.
Pretty little stop set back from A39. Could find no signs restricting overnight parking.
This is a lovely, peaceful area just off the main road. Great spot for a daytime park up, lunch and woodland walk to break up a long journey. (there's not any toilets nearby)
