13 Strèda de Greva, 38031, Campitello di Fassa
Been here?
This well-maintained campsite lies beside the Avisio river in a central yet quiet setting, surrounded by mountain views. Pitches are grassy and clean, with drinking water, toilets, showers, camper service and laundry facilities. There is also a bar and restaurant serving pizza, and the site is convenient for walking, cycling, lifts and nearby towns. Facilities are clean, but the sanitary block may require a long walk and stairs, and prices are high.

We stayed here for a week and would happily have stayed longer. Quiet, fresh and leafy—everything was perfect. Among the cleanest sanitary facilities I have seen, good access to a washing machine, and friendly staff. Perfect starting point for hikes, bike rides, ski lifts and nearby towns. An extra plus is that campers received free bus passes.
The campsite is in a great location, right by the ski lift station. There were lots of people at the campsite and plenty of caravans, but that just goes to show that it really is a good place. Everything was fine until, a worker arrived with a petrol-powered brush cutter and started mowing the grass right next to us, sending a hail of stones and rubbish flying at us: into our faces, into our food
Great campsite. Well equipped, drinking water, toilets, showers (both open 24/7). Plenty of pitches. Bar and restaurant with good pizza. Nearby to centre of town. Also has camper service with fresh water, grey water waste, and black water waste. Only drawback is the price.
It is a beautiful location, the sites all have grass and are very clean. It is close to everything. My big issue is the location of the facilities. There is only one location in a really big site and one has to walk a good distance then climb stairs to shower or use the WC. They close one floor for cleaning from 8:30 to 9:30. So more stairs to climb. I have back problems.
I give it a 4, mainly because of the pitches. They effectively turn one pitch into two. You are really packed tightly next to each other. Very unfortunate! Otherwise, a great campsite! Very beautiful views between the mountains and in the middle of Campitello di Fassa. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient, but it is a shame that the toilets are so far from the showers; the large washhouse is a bit of a maze. ;)
A beautiful campsite in wonderful surroundings, right by a small river. Sufficiently large, though not huge, pitches; very clean showers and toilets in adequate numbers; and excellent washing-up and laundry facilities. Plenty of drinking-water points. Currently not fully booked in the low season.
Beautiful site with great views and very well-maintained sanitary facilities. Almost €47 for one night (van, electricity) in the low season is steep. Parking is only allowed in one direction, and you are not allowed to attach a hammock or anything similar to the trees. Unfortunately, this is not my kind of camping.
This is one of the only campsites that has online booking which is fab for immediately seeing availability. Convenient location, walking distance to supermarket and restaurants and they provide free bus travel. Perfect base for walking. The toilets aren't very accessible, they're upstairs away from the showers which isn't great for elderly people or going in the night!
Three nights, one van, two people and one dog (no electricity): €209, which is unfortunately excessive, but there are no alternatives. P.S. €20 was added for a late departure by 4 hours.
Excellent location, top-level cleanliness in the bathrooms and common areas. In the long term, the limited restaurant offering (pizza only) and the obvious energy profiteering may not be practical. That said, it was a lovely winter experience; the idea is to return in summer. Thank you!
Nice, large campsite with several types of pitches, clean bathrooms, laundry area, kitchen, small bar and restaurant. Some pitches have grey-water supply and drainage on the pitch. Convenient location and very quiet.
€48 for two people and one van without electricity. A peaceful night. The morning is a little noisy because of dogs and vehicles leaving early. The sanitary facilities are very good, with hot water and clean toilets. The campsite was not full in mid-September.
Beautiful, quiet campsite. Very nice and well-maintained sanitary facilities. A great place to start hikes. Sass Pordoi (around 2,950 m) can be reached on foot and by lifts (day ticket €45 for all lifts). Great views from the top. Slightly overpriced, hence only 4 out of 5 stars.
Overall very good campsite, it is crowded but quite and the facilities are very good. we paid 60ero for night. also the restaurant is good and not expensive as you may find in places like this
Three stars because of the exorbitant price and cleaning that is a little too frequent. Even in Cortina we paid less! €135 for one night with a van, two adults and two teenagers aged 16 and 18. The toilets and showers are often being cleaned, perhaps a little too much, so you have to go upstairs. The sanitary facilities are spotless and plentiful.
Wonderful campsite in a fairytale setting! Impeccably clean. The only downside is that, since there is only one bathroom block, when it is cleaned—and fortunately they do it very often—you are left without bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities.
Nice location, well connected by bus, good for excursions, with a cycle path next to it. Facilities are fine, services are good, and the pizzeria is good. The clientele is generally Italian, so it is noisy, with shouting children running around and some rules being ignored. No privacy. Recommended for families with children. Not recommended for those who expect rules to be followed 100% or who seek peace and quiet.
Wonderful campsite, enchanting scenery, numerous services that are always clean! The only minor flaw is that there is just one grey-water disposal point, which is always very crowded on major departure days.
Very clean campsite, excellent location for walking and cycling trips. The pitches are indeed a little small and somewhat sloped, but orderly and well equipped. Very kind and welcoming staff.
Excellent campsite in the center of town, very kind staff, clean bathrooms supplied with soap and toilet paper, very spacious showers, and direct access to the cycle and walking path. Very quiet at night.
The site is beautifully located and has an excellent sanitary building. Reception is friendly, but the site manager is atrocious. You cannot choose a pitch, and driving around the site is discouraged because the grass gets damaged. There is also no privacy, as everyone is packed together in a mixed arrangement.
Beautiful campsite with wonderfully clean sanitary facilities. Nice hot showers, but... they cram everyone one meter apart and mix tents, vans, motorcycles and cars together. There is no privacy at all. When I returned to my van, I suddenly found myself in the middle of a village of friends with more than 20 children. Horrible! And for a truly high price!
Booked 3 nights but when we turned up we were told there was a ‘system’ error and the prices were wrong. The site is in a great location and the pitches a good size. The facilities are great but the showers have the shortest push button ever. The ‘hot’ water in the washing up area wasn’t hot. The toilets ran out of loo roll. The bar wasn’t open. We didn’t feel any sense of customer service.
Very nice campsite with a shuttle service to the train. We had a private bathroom with our van, which was clean and very practical. The other sanitary facilities and washing-up areas were also very clean. Bakery and supermarket reachable within 5 minutes on foot. Friendly reception—we would definitely return.
Much of the rating is due to the central location and convenience for the lifts, with a shuttle service taking you to the cable car. Spacious, clean bathrooms and showers. The bar service and welcome could be greatly improved. Also, nobody ever answers the phone. Expensive for the services offered.
Beautiful campsite with great mountain views. You camp on green meadows. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and the showers spacious. However, the welcome at the campsite was not very good. The staff seemed unmotivated. The sanitary facilities were often cleaned, but at times when you need them and cannot enter. Expensive campsite: €48 for one night with a car and rooftop tent.
We liked the location, the peace and quiet, and the proximity to the village on foot. The services were impeccable, although often unavailable in the morning because of cleaning, which is not really normal! Still, €64 per night for two adults, a motorhome and a trailer, with an extra charge for one additional person. On the other hand, the payment system works too well, while at reception there is no smile, friendliness or sense of customer service. What a shame.
Well-maintained and clean campsite. Beautiful facilities with excellent services. Prices in line with other local campsites in high season. Just steps from the village and well connected to Canazei via the pedestrian/cycle path, 15 minutes on foot.
