Camping Mas Sud Ardèche

Wonderful experience at this campsite, which has plenty of space for campers. There are many activities: fishing, free canoe rental, a beach volleyball court, and a new 18-meter pool for summer 2026, in addition to the large Zodiac pool for children. Thanks to the whole team, who are great with vacationers!

Very friendly owners and plenty of free spaces. The sanitary facilities could use modernization, because pulling a cord is not practical. Toilets okay but no paper. Beautiful, quiet location within cycling distance of Esprit. We stayed for 6 days. We were not bothered by the train at all, and enjoyed the partying youths from a distance. Good atmosphere.

Good one-night stay! Great owner, free pitches. We arrived late and left the next day, so we did not use the bar or pool. I also saw the canoes, so I assume you can launch directly from the campsite. Not much pressure in the shower (perhaps we got a bad one), toilets okay. There is indeed background noise from the road and train, but it’s manageable…

Honestly, a very pleasant surprise: large pitches, an extremely friendly owner, a pool, the river five minutes away—what more could you ask for? And there is also a good restaurant.

Superb campsite. The team is wonderful, and manager Pascal is always attentive. The sanitary facilities are always clean, maintained by Narine. We had an excellent stay, both in the bungalow and in our motorhome under the shade of the trees. We will return without hesitation.

We only wanted a night stop. The setting by the river enticed us, but the trains on the rail bridge and the noisy motorbikes on the road bridge slightly spoilt the evening. As both seemed to stop later, we slept quite well. There are very likely quieter places nearby.

Bravo, great campsite, shaded and spacious. Dynamic team.

We were lucky and got a place at this almost empty campsite on September 30, 2024, because throughout the Ardèche all sites close much earlier than the end of September. The young man at reception was very friendly and even spoke German. The sanitary facilities are okay and clean. The cost for a motorhome, two people, two dogs, electricity, and tax was €22.32.
