Been here?
A small, simple campsite beside a fishable river, with plenty of space and a quiet rural setting. Toilets and showers are rustic, and recent comments describe the facilities as clean but dated. Fishing is available, with free choice of pitches and a small kiosk. A nearby railway can be noisy, with trains previously reported every 10 minutes.

A friendly welcome and a pleasant place with a large field bordering a fish-filled river. Plenty of space. Rustic toilets and showers. €25 per night.
Simple, basic camping. The sanitary facilities are showing their age, but they are clean. The operators are very friendly and helpful. We were given an electrical cable that reached the water. Free choice of pitch. There is also a small kiosk. No luxury here, but real camping and nature. Simply idyllic.
No owner was present when we arrived. We wanted to ask about staying overnight, but nobody was there. Two or three motorhomes were parked there, but no one was outside. We drove away and went to another campsite.
A disaster: a train passes every 10 minutes. Dirty toilets, no water for motorhomes, and emptying the toilet is inconvenient. Occupants leave their cars running constantly. Pitch with electricity one metre from the bins. For a price of £25, avoid it.
Basic campsite, useful for emptying chemical toilets. The sanitary facilities are small—one shower and one toilet—so avoid peak times. There is a train nearby, but it stops running at the end of the evening.
air quality 100% pure ,very nice view, fishing lake, green grass, showers, toilets.
Nice campsite fishing available friendly owners would recommend can get delivery’s delivered to site if wanted and plenty to chose from local shops 5 min drive McDonald’s close by nice quiet place
I confirm what Turtle said: a magnificent, peaceful and very British place. The motorhome is on the lawn, just like our little bare feet. A lovely walk along the canal. As for the services, everything is done in a very informal way. Quite something for the British...
