Fenced asphalt area, tight pitches

The pitch is very suitable for exploring Leipzig. Toilets and showers can be used next door in the climbing hall for a small fee. Very nice and friendly people. We would definitely come again.

This is not a camping area but a parking lot with very tight spaces, costing €27.50 for a 6-meter camper. Electricity is not available at all spaces and is not included in the price. Cassette and gray-water disposal are available. Close to the city center; the bus and tram stop is 10 minutes away.

Spaces are very narrow and short. At €27.50, it is too expensive, plus electricity and water are charged according to consumption. It is close to the city center, though.

City parking area, so it is tightly packed. Electricity costs extra; toilets and showers, including communal showers, are available in the climbing hall next door for a fee. There is seating in front of the climbing hall like a beer garden. Tram stop 14, Dessauer Strasse, is very close; after four stops you are at the station and can quickly reach the old town. So it is well suited for visiting the city.

Basic pitch with very narrow spaces for €27.50 per night. Showers (€1.50) and toilets (€0.50) can be used next door in the bouldering hall. If the actual pitch is full, parking spaces at the bouldering hall are also used. The good public transport connection was sufficient for sightseeing, but for the price the place is simply overpriced. What a shame.

To start with the positive, it is very easy to get to the city center by public transport. Otherwise, however, we were disappointed. You are parked very close together, and the washing facilities in the bouldering hall are quite primitive. Well, €27.50 for one night in the middle of Leipzig is probably the price you have to pay. But I could still smell the bouldering hall long afterward. If you like that, fine—for us it was not suitable. There are certainly people who are less sensitive than we are.

The pitch is close to the city center. There is a tram stop nearby. Showers and toilets can be used in the climbing hall next door. Supply and disposal facilities are available. However, the motorhomes are parked very close together. Arriving early secures a place.

For a pitch in the city, it is okay, although somewhat tight. In my opinion, the price is a little high; shower and toilet must be paid for separately, but the prices are reasonable (€1.50/€0.50).

Anyone looking for a pitch for a visit to Leipzig city center is in the right place here. The pitch is within walking distance of a stop. The tram takes 10 minutes to the main railway station. The site is practically equipped and the contact was very nice and friendly. We would be happy to return.

A practical pitch for exploring Leipzig. There is no gas! Fresh water had been shut off because of frost, but the owner enabled us to fill up. The showers in the climbing center are gender-separated communal showers. We stayed two nights and would use it again for a visit to Leipzig.

Friendly welcome. Fairly level asphalt parking space. Supply and disposal work. Showers in the climbing hall next door are almost barrier-free, with only slight steps in the women’s shower. The pitch is more of a parking lot, with everything very close together. It could be problematic in an emergency. Ask about prices before entering. From 8 meters onward and during events, it becomes more expensive. The S-Bahn was clearly audible during the day.

The pitch is unfortunately located in the environmental zone and we had to turn around in the middle of the city. We would have appreciated a note about this in the description.

Everything you need is there, with a few compromises regarding comfort. Sufficient for one night. The motorhomes are parked fairly close together. A water container is used for rinsing toilet cassettes. Fresh water is available from the tap a little farther left for a fee. Tip: Pay attention to the desired quantity and pay only for that amount. The tap remains open until the paid quantity has been dispensed.

We were warmly welcomed and the man led us to the pitch by bicycle. Nice pitch in central Leipzig, with good showers and toilets. The sanitary facilities are in the changing rooms of the climbing hall next door.

Perfect for exploring Leipzig, not for lingering. Uncomplicated, friendly contact and reservation; good information on site; clean. The toilet in the climbing hall was surprisingly clean and friendly, 50 cents. Not as noisy at night as expected. We felt safe. Spaces are tight but fine for a camper van. Payment by PayPal is possible. Super-friendly operator who introduced himself again in the evening.

Tight parking area at a former supermarket in an industrial estate. In our opinion, neither a motorhome pitch nor close to the city center. €25.35 for this. From a security perspective, we consider the site very questionable: vehicles are parked very tightly and there is only one entrance and exit. When we were there, the site was full with 29 vehicles, and more were parked in the adjacent area.

Relatively centrally located site; the zoo is about a 20-minute walk away. The criticisms mentioned by others regarding sanitary opening hours and prices also apply to the alternative pitch in Leipzig. At this site, however, you are independent of staff for supply, disposal, and electricity.

Area not recommended! Apart from electricity, the other services are really poor. The bathrooms are in the gym next door and have limited opening hours. Water is really expensive, and for cleaning the black-water tank there is a tank filled with rainwater, in full sun and on asphalt!

Pitch ideal for one night to explore Leipzig. Centrally located. Toilets can be used in the climbing hall until 10 p.m. (50 cents). Trains can be heard at night. Card payment possible. Very friendly welcome.

Convenient for visiting the city center. We paid €23.50 for four people without electricity.

Good price considering prices in Germany! Very friendly operator! All services are available, including black- and gray-water disposal. Bathroom and shower are inside a wonderful climbing gym! €0.50 for the toilet, €1.50 for shower and toilet.

Very centrally located pitch. Using the sanitary facilities is a little complicated because of the climbing hall’s opening hours. Relatively noisy at night because the railway passes nearby. Perfect for visiting the city, but rather unsuitable for a longer stay. We had reserved and received a very friendly welcome. Card payment is possible. Coins are required for the rest, including toilet and electricity.

Absolutely not recommended if you do not have a fully equipped motorhome. You have to use the climbing hall’s sanitary facilities, which are only open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Apart from electricity, there is nothing here. The water supply is also a disaster. The operators were there only once during the two days we stayed, to collect payment. The owner was very friendly, though.

Good welcome. Excessive price for the services available. €25 per day, with water and electricity charged separately, is too much for a parking area. Nevertheless, everything campers need is present. The center is easily reachable on foot or by tram 16, although the ticket is rather expensive at €3.50 for four stops.

The area is flat or slightly sloping and can be leveled with ramps. Free black- and gray-water disposal; fresh-water filling is charged. Waste collection is not separated. The area is not beautiful, but it is perfectly suitable for a quick stop to visit the city. The operators are friendly and helpful. Space for each camper is limited but sufficient.

Asphalt parking area near tram stop 9, which takes you to the central station in two stops, from where you can visit the city center. The bathrooms in the nearby gym can be used, and showers cost €1.50. Electricity is charged, but I did not understand how many kWh it provides. I inserted €5 and, with only the refrigerator running, there was no electricity left the following morning.

I have never seen tighter spaces than here. Yes, you can park your motorhome, but there is no additional room! We looked for another place; it really is possible to do better than this! Unbelievable that something like this is offered.

Great pitch in the middle of Leipzig with a super-friendly host! Toilets in the climbing hall are exceptionally clean in the morning; showers are okay. Gladly again.

A place with electricity; when it is full, a second area at a climbing hall is opened. It could be nicer. I find €25 too much, even if it is close to the city center. It is certainly a 35–45-minute walk to the center. We did not use the toilets in the climbing hall.

The site scores points for its proximity to Leipzig’s old town. We spent only two nights, were warmly welcomed, and got a place without a reservation on Ascension Day. However, at €42 per night, it is quite expensive. Since it was our first time in Leipzig, we chose this site. On a future visit, we would do things differently.
