Campingplatz Kirnbergsee

Campsite beside a lake, occupied by year-round caravans. The landscaped area above is for vans and similar vehicles. Not very flat, with no shade, but close to the forest. The sanitary facilities are fantastic, but there is only one block for the whole campsite, so it involves quite a bit of walking. Pleasant swimming, but the small lawn in front is covered with dog mess. €40 for one night, one person, one dog and electricity.

Small and beautiful campsite; we stayed for one night. The toilets were always clean and the lady at reception was very friendly. For our pitch, we needed a second 10-metre power cable in addition to our own, which we were able to borrow.

It was my first trip with my small caravan. I was travelling alone with my dog and everything worked wonderfully. The service was great, water and electricity were easy to access, the pitch was beautiful, the Wi-Fi worked very well, and everything was provided. The sanitary facilities are spacious and always spotless. I will miss the daily walks around the lake. :)

I arrived here in autumn. The internet said it would cost €19.50 for one person in a camper. The usual tourist tax did not surprise me, but I was puzzled that I also had to pay a €2 environmental fee and a €3 check-in fee. Although the site was fairly empty, we were not allowed to choose our own pitch. The showers and toilets are spacious and clean, but they are quite a distance away.

We had a great pitch, but the walk to the toilet is quite long, and a family gets only ONE key! The washroom, including the toilets, is ALWAYS locked! The lake is great for swimming! Unfortunately, the restaurant is not particularly good, but we liked everything else very much.

We felt very comfortable. Very nicely located by the lake. Friendly lady at reception. Everything clean and excellent. One point deducted because there was no vending machine or kiosk, only a small one at reception until 6 p.m., and there were no non-alcoholic drinks there. I had to buy two bottles of water at the restaurant for €12. Well, I survived.

I cannot confirm that there are no landmines. This morning there was a medium-sized pile right in the middle of the site. Unfortunately, there are also people here who are loud until 1 a.m. and let their dogs out off-leash at night. Otherwise everything is excellent. I have never seen such clean sanitary facilities. Wi-Fi very good. Levelling blocks required. One person with a camper, without electricity, paid €31.50.

With a motorhome and dog, we found this beautiful site. Unfortunately, only tents are allowed directly by the lake, so the walk to the sanitary facilities was a little longer. Many dogs, but all on leads. NO landmines! The restaurant is pleasantly located right by the lake, but unfortunately only open until 8 p.m. Delicious food, everyone friendly. Conclusion: excellent.
