Been here?
This is a secluded parking lot at the Reicherskreuzer Heide circular hiking trail, surrounded by nature and suitable only for vans because of the access. The approach is challenging, with sandy sections from the south and poor road quality. The area is quiet and isolated, with extensive walking opportunities and almost no people or artificial light.

Getting there is already a challenge, but it is definitely worth it. Quiet and secluded beside the nature reserve, allowing you to spend an undisturbed night. The next morning you can also visit the glacial erratic park.Translating
Fantastic secluded parking area. The approach is easy, though somewhat sandy from the south. Endless hiking opportunities, no light pollution or sounds apart from birdsong and nature! You also park very level, and hardly anyone passes by. One of the most beautiful places in Germany for us!Translating
Quite a nice place, but not easy to reach. Vans may have an advantage on the approach.Translating
The parking area is awesome. The access road was a disaster. I searched stupidly long and hard for the road leading there. Basically, follow the road to the glacial erratic park, then continue straight past it. You cannot really call it a road; it is more like a forest track full of potholes. It was manageable with a small four-wheel-drive vehicle.Translating
Attention! Do not use the roads shown by Google. Instead, use the road visible only in satellite view from the north. You drive past the glacial erratic park. The road quality is also poor.Translating
