Been here?
A small, friendly campsite beside a stream offers well-maintained pitches, electric hookup, water, camper servicing and clean, nearly new facilities. The site has toilets, showers, laundry, a microwave and a short dog walk, while the nearby pub is a two-minute walk away. In July 26, a campervan pitch for 2 with electric hookup cost £38 per night, though shower water can be tepid and the timer is inconvenient.

A wonderful campsite. Clean and run with so much care. Warm welcome. Absolutely recommended.
Wonderful small campsite along the river. Pitches on draining stone, each with its own grassy area (softer than a carpet!). Complete and impeccable facilities (motorhome service point, toilets, hot showers, free washing machine and dryer). Welcoming and warm-hearted owners. Excellent value for money! We could not have found a better place for our first night in Scotland. Thank you!
Wonderful campsite, so well appointed and laid out. Toilet and shower block are nearly new and spotless. Local pub is two-minute walk away and has decent and well-priced food and drink. Friendly warden. Site in July 26 is £38/night for 2 in a campervan with electric hookup.
Booked the site at the last minute and was glad I did. The warden was very welcoming and chatty. Pitches are a good size and the grounds are well maintained. Excellent facilities on site, including a microwave and washer/dryer. Toilets are immaculate, although the shower timer is very annoying. You have to keep it pressed with one hand while washing with the other. That is my only criticism. I will return.
Lovely site with good welcome and the pub is great. However, the push button for seconds of tepid water is super annoying. Have to use one hand at a time for washing or lean on it uncomfortably. Fortunately didn’t need a hair wash!
Lovely little site beneath Bonchester Hill (a very pretty walk). Friendly wardens and all facilities spotless and very smart. Massive plus is the brilliant pub next door (the Horse and Hound) with really nice food. The young lady who served our meal and drinks was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Hope to return one day soon.
