Lakeside parking, reckless driving

Just arrived. Six motorhomes here. Excellent.

We stayed here for two nights. It was quiet, and the small town centre was easy to reach. It was peaceful.

Quiet night with shady trees at the back. Fully asphalted parking area. Not very inviting for sitting outside. A beautiful seven-minute cycle along the lake to the charming town centre.

Nice, quiet location, a little far from town but with a lovely walk along the water.

Quiet, well-located parking area. At the end of the road, by the football and tennis fields, there are recycling bins and a beautiful children’s play area, skate park, outdoor exercise equipment, barbecue, and picnic table. There also seems to be a ski slope. The town centre is a 15-minute walk away along the lake, which has benches. Very pleasant walk.

Asphalt parking area with a slight slope, easily corrected with leveling blocks. Excellent, peaceful night. Twenty-minute walk to the centre along the lake. Bus stop 20 metres away. The other parking areas shown in the app beside the lake are unusable; maximum parking-space length is 5 metres. Overhangs are blocked to protect the flowers behind the spaces. One bin available.

The space is sufficient for one night. It was clean and not overcrowded. However, people were doing burnouts, and early in the morning someone drove directly past the motorhomes. Not very pleasant.

Very nice that Sigtuna has arranged a free motorhome site. Lovely walking paths along the shore.

As it was outside the season, we preferred to park in the village, but the car park is good, large, and I think also quiet.

A little far from town, but with a lovely cycling and hiking trail along the water. Spacious enough for our large van.

Super motorhome site. The town is very easy to reach on foot.

Ok for a sleepover. No services, a bit further to the city, but we didn't find anything closer for our 7,4m van. We cycled to the town. Quiet at night.

Nice and actually very quiet motorhome site! A visit to the city is absolutely worthwhile! Not far from the site by the lake is a swimming area with a sandy beach! Many thanks to the municipality for providing such a nice, free motorhome site!

Many thanks to Sigtuna for this place. It is not wonderful and has no services, but it is a place to park and spend the night. 4 stars.

Perfect spot for one night, no services apart from a bin, with adjacent woods for an emergency pee if you are not equipped with a toilet. More than quiet enough by my standards; clearly there is a road next to it, but the speed limit is 30 km/h, so traffic noise is minimal. Sigtuna's old town is a 20-minute walk away and there is a beautiful lake 150 metres away.

Good parking. You can walk to the town centre along the pedestrian path.

Paved area with space for 12 motorhomes. The spaces are quite small, so vehicles over 7.5 m will have difficulty fitting. Otherwise very nicely arranged.

Paved site; leveling chocks are necessary if you want to be straight. No services but free. Nine spaces if everyone parks considerately. Fairly quiet; the road ahead leads to the sports facilities, so there is traffic in the evening. The recycling bins are at the end of the dead end. Very pretty town.

Freshly asphalted, nine spaces directly beside the cycle path to Sigtuna. No services. Beautiful, quiet location. We were satisfied. We stood level and straight.

Parking area a 20-minute walk from beautiful Sigtuna. No services but free. It is a shame that the surrounding streets are fairly busy, so the nights are not peaceful here. Unfortunately, the new area was not made level either. Were there really no quiet places to be found in this area, for example by the lake shore?
