A scenic riverside spot about 2 miles from Braemar, with room for one camper. The river is pleasant, the surrounding views are beautiful, and walks begin near the bridge. There are no services, but phone reception is currently good. Some cars pass, though traffic becomes much quieter after 20h.

Magical place. We arrived in the sunshine. The river is very pleasant. A few cars, but it becomes much quieter after 8 p.m. No services, but we were prepared. Phone connection is fine. I recommend it.
Beautiful sleeping spot directly by the river. Traffic gradually dies down in the evening. The view is wonderful and we enjoyed it.
Beautiful wee spot for the night about 2 miles from Braemar. Right beside the road on one side and a small river on the other but very quiet at night. Just enough room for one camper and well worth a saunter over the bridge on the old road where we saw deer and owls on the hunt. No 4g/minimal phone signal but the view more than makes up for that.
A dramatic, scenic spot. Room for one van by the river. Traffic quietens at night. Walk down the track towards Inverauld Estate early morning and hear deer 'moo-ing' on the mountain. Collected litter and cans left by wild campers. Leave no trace!
27 July 2022. Superb flat spot beside the river. The surrounding landscapes are magnificent. The river is accessible. Very little traffic at night. Walking opportunities start from the bridge. Some Scots took it upon themselves to drive onto the little road beyond the bridge, park their car and pitch a tent beside the river.
