Penparcau Road, SY23, Aberystwyth
Been here?
A hillside campsite with terraced grassy and partly gravel pitches overlooking Aberystwyth, the bay and sea. The site is steep and exposed to wind, with a downhill walk or cycle into town and beaches. New toilets and showers are now available, alongside electricity, water, laundry and other campsite facilities.

The best communal facilities bar none. State of the art shower cubicles, I kid you not. Incredible views of Aberystwyth as it's atop a big old hill which means a nice walk down into town and a taxi back! Wind is a tad fierce up here but I quite like it for air flow in the heat of the van.
Magnificent, well-located place. Beautiful terraced pitches offering views over the nearby town. Brand-new, luxurious and magnificent sanitary facilities. Highly recommended.
Late check in until 7 pm brand new toilets and showers no need to book in
Lovely views, nice down hill cycle into town and beaches. Electric bike necessary for the ride back . We did park near south beach in MH parking but only 4 spaces. Toilet block here is very tired and old but there’s a new one nearly finished right now so that should be fabulous. The pitches are not very flat so you will probably need chocks.
We stayed here in early May at the end of the bank holiday weekend. The owners were helpful and friendly. We had issues with the toilet cassette in our camper van and they leant us some tools and when we weren’t able to fix the problem they helped figure out where we could take it to be fixed or replaced. They also let me use their phone when mine was playing up! Very clean site. Would recommend!
The most beautiful view of the sea and the town. A bit of a walk to the toilets. Lovely helpful owners
Very friendly welcome. Pitches on grass and partly gravel; those on the far right behind the hedge, viewed from the entrance, are quite noisy during the day because of the road. Beautiful view of the town and sea. About a 30–40-minute walk into the city; bus service is mediocre but still okay (every 1–2 hours, stop about 500 m away). One washhouse, a second under construction. Price: £32 including electricity for two people.
Spacious campsite on a slope. Our pitch (45) sloped downhill and the leveling blocks were not sufficient. But there are good, spacious showers and a large washing machine and dryer (for a fee). Space to wash dishes, and several places on the campsite to empty black water and fill up with fresh water. Waste-sorting area. Everything is spotlessly clean. Compliments to the manager!
Superb site clean tidy and friendly all round, was a challenge with the hills but me pups loved it. Definitely would go back. All facilities 5 star for me throughout. Dog walk field awesome respect to dog owners keeping on top of mess. Owners very accommodating with disabilities needs. Everything is a good walk or a £6 taxi. Go Go Ho camp out have fun & relaxation.
Very nice welcome. Beautiful pitches on grass. Extremely accommodating when we had to leave early!
Beautiful viewpoint, but the terrain is very steep, and there is only one sanitary block at the bottom, far from the upper pitches. The price is far too high: £34 in May.
perfect view. 30 pounds per night, 2 persons. all the facilities you need. would recommend it!
Located on a hill with great views of Aber. Good facilities, clean and well kept. Easy walk to shops and supermarkets and within easy reach of Pendinas hill fort and lookout. Good for a nice stopover or a longer visit and great value too.
Fine campsite. £30 per night with electricity. The washing machine is £6.50 and the dryer £1.50 for 20 minutes; you need more coins for that. Everything is clean, the welcome is warm and you feel welcome. Beautiful view over the town. A 40-minute walk into town. We were passing through, so we did not visit the town.
Just 1 night on a very quiet site. Had the toilet & shower block almost to myself. A bit tired but immaculately clean and heated with piping hot water. All for £30 for 2 on a hardstanding with EHU.
