A lay-by off a very quiet road, suitable for overnight stays, with public footpaths and bridleways nearby. The surface is worn and potholed, but a flat place can be found without blocking farm gates. There are no facilities apart from a bin, and the surroundings offer lovely views.

Lay-by off a very quiet road with almost no traffic. The surface in 2026 is getting quite worn/potholed but we managed to find a flat spot not blocking the farm gates. There is still a bin here for rubbish. We received a friendly "hello" from a local dog-walker in the morning whilst stood eating breakfast. Views mostly blocked by hedges, but still an appealing spot and a good nights sleep.
