92B Barrio Sonabia, 39798, Castro Urdiales
Been here?
This is a very restricted daytime parking place in the Sonabia area, with a beautiful coastal setting. Access is blocked by a height barrier limiting vehicles to 2m, so most vans and motorhomes cannot enter. Overnight stays are prohibited, and Guardia Civil patrols have issued fines for sleeping there. The area is especially busy on weekends and during summer.

Watch out! The Guardia Civil are very vigilant in the area! We were fined for staying overnight in the camper!
Increasingly restrictive. We were fined for spending the night… Better to stay in Oriñon.
You can hardly access it with any van now, since they have imposed a height limit of 2 m.
You cannot get into the village because there is a 2 m height-restriction barrier. Such a shame.
It is a beautiful place, and it is no wonder they have restricted access to prevent overcrowding and disrespectful overnight stays. The barrier was a pain for us, but since then we have walked from Oriñon. At least I hope this will preserve the surroundings and teach us to be more respectful and less filthy.
Terrible! It is a beautiful place, but they have installed a height barrier at the entrance to the village.
