Beach parking, possible bar noise

Very nice free spot by the beach. Quiet night. Public showers and toilets.

Paved, fairly level parking area. Bins and seating available. Showers on the beach. Restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby. Quiet at night. No prohibition signs. Great sea view and amazing sunsets.

Ideal parking area with a view of the ocean! Open to everyone, including vans and motorhomes. Very clean shower facilities nearby, available from 9:30 a.m. Highly recommended!

One star deducted for the lack of shade. I stopped at the beginning of the access road, next to a park with shade. There were six of us.

Super place for sleep one night. in the middle of the week it was calm and w/o any problem.

We stayed here for one night. It was quiet and good for sleeping. ☺️

There was plenty of parking and a privileged sea view. The only downside was a café/bar that was very noisy until the early hours of the morning.

Perfect spot, but some young people came to park next to us and kept revving their engine. We did not feel safe; the atmosphere was strange, so we left.

Large, free, paved parking area, quiet at night. Directly on the beach. There are picnic tables and benches along the waterfront. Little noise during the night. There is also a shaded park with tables less than 1 km away.

30/06/25: Ideal for resting day and night right by the sea, with a beautiful beach. Snack bar and restaurant. No services and no shade, but it is windy and the sea provides plenty of cooling. French gas-cylinder refills for €20 under the bridge before Figueira da Foz, to the right. GPS: 40.141714, 8.840904, at a petrol station. This is rare, so please spread the word and fill up as a thank-you.

Large parking area, peaceful and quiet, a great place. The beach is 50 metres away. The night was peaceful. Recommended.

Easy and quiet place to stay the night. Right on the beach. Beautiful sunset and easy access for our van. Cars in and out at night and in the morning but it didn’t bother us.

Incredible. Beautiful sunsets, an ideal beach for swimming or surfing, and a promenade connecting the beaches for running or walking. There is a restaurant, a small supermarket for basic items one minute away, wooden tables with umbrellas in the parking area, and bins. Public toilets with very clean showers are free until 7 p.m. These are not the beach showers, which do not work.

Large parking area with direct beach access. The showers are still out of order. At the weekend, the pavements and roadway became completely parked up. Some people apparently do not know how long their vehicles are.

Many spaces to choose from. A peaceful, quiet night for us this weekend! None of the disturbances mentioned previously. Lovely view, restaurants, games, tables—nothing but good things!

Actually a great spot directly on the beach, but unfortunately a popular meeting place for young people who mindlessly drive laps and donuts around the parking area. We did not feel safe and left after a few hours for the official motorhome parking area 10 km farther north.

Three exceptional nights lulled by the sound of the waves. Quiet, with few people at this time of year. Slight slope, but not bothersome. The services, including the tap and shower, are currently not working. Large beach right beside the spot, pleasant swimming—a real joy.

On 11 January 2025, I was woken by banging on the motorhome. An egg was thrown and caused one dent from a sharp object. I heard young people’s voices. There were three vans in total, two with Portuguese plates, and nothing happened to them. I had German plates, which seems to be the only reason. I am sad and angry that this is the new language of young people.

Perfect place to spend the night, quiet at night. Thanks to the town for tolerating overnight stays here. We will return. Parked with a trailer.

Lovely beach; the seafront spaces are relatively flat. A few restaurants and a mini-market nearby. Very quiet apart from a few fishermen who speak loudly from early morning. Good 4G network.
