Quiet village area, no toilet

Beautifully laid-out site with pleasant surroundings, quiet and cozy. The organization is currently quite makeshift: after calling, a municipal works employee comes to assign a space; payment on departure is also in cash (€15 for two people). No toilet. Electricity, fresh water, and gray-water/chemical-toilet disposal are available.✦Translating

I made a reservation. I waited an hour, but no one answered the phone and no one was in the shop. The gate was closed, so I drove on. How long am I supposed to wait?✦Translating

Nice place for hiking and visiting the church in Spiazzi. Registration by phone worked well. When we left, no one answered the phone, so we put the €15 in the mailbox at the barrier.✦Translating

We spent here 2 nights. It works very easy, you come, call the checkin call, follow the instructions and you enjoy. For payment we went to the small groceries at the end of the street behind the municipal building. The price is 15 off season. Easy and functioning. It was our start point for Madonna de la Corona by feet (6 km), and Monte Baldo by electro bikes (20 km, 1000 m higher),both magnific.

We were here last year (2024), and for €10 it was perfect. We came back today and the price has practically doubled without any additional services compared with last year. I can understand an increase, but not 100%. To enter, you have to call a number, with payment at a shop in the center of Ferrara di Monte Baldo. The village is very charming. Good camping area in a beautiful location, without reception, showers, or toilets. They now charge €20 per night, which seems excessive for what it offers. There is good water filling and emptying and electricity hookups, but you have to arrange everything yourself. They only come to collect the money, so they might as well make it automatic and display the prices, because you do not know the cost until you call the people in charge.✦Translating

We stayed here for two nights in March. It was completely quiet and very beautiful! Perfect for families, as there is a huge playground. In the evening we connected our bus to the electricity ourselves and paid the next morning at the small shop. Down by the barbecue areas in the village there is also a large, heated toilet. Wonderful hikes start directly from Ferrara di Monte Baldo.✦Translating

Access to the area is a little tight for long motorhomes; we had no problem with our 5.6-meter vehicle. Basic, lit, and level. Electricity hookup; water is unavailable in winter, and the barrier is raised. The €10 parking fee is paid at the village shop, where they are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place. Roads a bit steep. On other side of the road - cemetery, which has beautiful lights at night. Stayed for 3 days, barrier was opened, used only electricity. For parking you can pay at mini market in the town. (Don’t be freeloaders, support their initiative : ))

Yes, we stayed here. The barrier is open, although there was no telephone number anywhere anymore. Water, electricity—which we did not need—and gray-water disposal were all available. Wonderful peace, great surroundings, and a beautiful circular hike! The village itself, however, seemed to be hibernating. We will come again!✦Translating

We were just about to drive into the parking area. There was a large “No Camper” sign. According to Google Maps, it was temporarily closed. A German was nevertheless parked there.✦Translating

A great place to stay, highly recommended. We ate very well in the village, slept well, and took a three-hour hike to the Corona pilgrimage church.✦Translating

A wonderful place to stay in a picturesque town. Breathtaking view. And very quiet, thanks to the neighbors (very nice cemetery on the other side of the street ;-). A bit tricky to get in and out with a big camper (we had 7.40m). The owner is very polite. All amenities as described are included. The hotel-restaurant on the square is lovely. Very good value for money.

Not suitable for motorhomes over 8 meters. The approach is winding and the level areas are very narrow. A shame.

You have to call a number on the board to enter. For payment, someone comes by, or you can pay at the grocery store.
