20 Avenue du Docteur Louis Mallet, 15300, Murat
Been here?
Service area with eight marked spots in a large train-station parking lot. Water, waste disposal, and electricity available; €2 per 10 minutes for water. Daytime only: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The terminal is very clean. Road and train noise make it unsuitable for sleeping despite ample space and easy access.

Very good for dumping waste and filling up with water: €2 for 10 minutes. Easy access with a large parking area.
Above all, do not follow the GPS if it takes you through the historic center!
€2 for 10 minutes of fresh water. Grey and black water disposal. Very clean service point. Large station parking lot, ideal for visiting but not for sleeping because it is too noisy. Free public toilets, but not very clean.
Large parking lot next to the service area. Ideal for visiting Murat. Take the route suggested by the tourist office.
The water works, but there is no electricity.
Doesn't work; the €2 coin was not returned and no water came out.
Filling and dumping available. The tap on the right works well, but the 10 minutes pass quickly; we could not fill our tank completely. Otherwise, the parking area is ideal for visiting the town.
The services work; you just need to use the tap on the right for drinking water (10 minutes) and cassette rinsing.
A handwritten notice says that the water does not work (not tested). I reported it to the tourist office for the city's technical services. Otherwise, a good place to park and visit the beautiful town, as well as to dump waste.
Dumping area opposite the station, accessible. Water filling possible using €1 or €2 coins.
It is indicated that the dumping area is in front of Murat station because the GPS takes you into the town and then tells you it is on the left.
Put in €2 and filled the tank completely. Also filled a 20-liter jerrycan. Bins available; for the price, everything is impeccable.
Pay €2 for 20 seconds of water! Faulty service point—avoid it.
Perfect for parking and visiting Murat. We did not use the services. For the night, we chose the Bredons Church option on the heights. At the tourist office, pick up a map of Murat and take the walk through this magnificent historic town, full of stories, famous people, and unusual houses. Also eat a Murat cone filled with treats at La Boîte à Biscuits, the shop next to the tourist office.
Functional service point with a €2 payment; €2, €1, and €0.50 coins accepted. Thank you to the municipality.
Finally, a working terminal, but only because it operates with coins; the ones requiring a credit card are often blocked and out of order. So everything is fine, except that overnight stays are not allowed—but it would not be a nice place anyway.
The only tap with a connector had been dismantled and left on the ground... No possibility of filling with water or rinsing the cassette. What a shame—the municipality's intention was good.
€2 for about 70 liters of water! No pressure. No water for rinsing cassettes unless you insert your euros: that's a scam!
We were able to dump waste and fill with fresh water for €2. Bring a coin; no card payments. Thanks to the municipality, as it is not easy to find water at this time of year.
Despite the freezing weather, we were able to fill up with water; everything worked. €2 for about 10 minutes, approximately 130 liters.
No particular problems for us today; the water was working for filling up. Perfect.
This service area is not 100% functional: black- and grey-water dumping is possible, but the fresh-water supply is out of order. As a result, we were charged €2 for nothing...
The area works perfectly. For €2, you get 10 minutes of drinking water. No point in parking here, but it does the job for the services.
